Had this finished a while ago but didn't post it for some reason.ΒAlso not sure why I haven't drawn the Tantibus before, it's quite literally a horse made of clouds! Also it's kind of bad ass.

I rather thought of the Tantabus in Madeline L'Engle (of a Wrinkle in Time fame) terms - it was an Ecthroi (Enemy), a demon allowed in from her own self-hate that intended to X her and the rest of Equestria if it was allowed.
And this is the closest art I've ever seen to that idea.Β Very well done.

You'll see quite a few parallels between the three Princesses (particularly Celestia) and the Mrs. Ws in the first, and Celestia is, beyond any shadow of a doubt, a Teacher. Β The Tantabus was a classic Ecthroi (second and third) and in a lot of ways Starlight Glimmer created a mini-Camazotz for herself.Β (I kept expecting her eyes to start glowing red!)
And nopony would understand the Black Thing, the Shadow, better then Luna.

This is pretty awesome.Β The red fire raging through the town really helps Luna and the Tantibus stand out all the more.
