The dark cub whipped his head up, ears raising to listen for the sound, and like Vinci pointed out, he could hear the familiar deep voice of his father coming up the entry way, and suddenly Inchiostro's once heavy paws felt as light as air as he dashed out of the room. He couldn't stop himself from slipping shoulder first into Gaius' bedroom door, the banging certainly waking the human as Inky scrambled to his paws again. The hallway was dark, and if Inky wasn't so excited, he might have taken a moment to be intimidated by the looming columns and walls.

Inky shook his head hard, the tips of his ears softly smacking him in the face as he regained his bearings again. He looked back, seeing his mother already trying to rush after him, seeming concerned for his physical health after crashing so hard. But alas! Not today mother! He had bigger sights to see than to fuss over that, looking over his shoulder to check — see, tis but a flesh wound. Not even any supposed red stuff. Gaius came to open his bedroom door, though, and the cub was already moving towards the front door to start hopelessly scratching at it.

Of course, this is where his family caught up with him, Rowan immediately taking him with a deft paw and grooming his head and shoulders ferociously, Inky crying to the stars for aid, he would miss his dad if his mom started cleaning him up now!! There was no time for this, especially with Amity sniggering at him like that, and Vinci was now gonna fuss too. Ugh. This was the worst.

But then. The familiar moon ray shined down on them as their human opened the door slowly, puzzled at the strange interaction before his eyes, but smiling very softly. Inky pushed on his mothers face to try and look at his father, and there he was! Head low and talking to someone important, clearly, and there was a pause in the air as Inky inhaled slowly.

His father was a large brown jaguar that sported ovalesk rosettes that rarely actually joined together to form a more consistent shape, eventually forming into spots and stripes up to his head that had its own sense of floof akin to that of his mothers, but more wild and free. However, Inky didn't bore the paler colors of either of his parents, not even the head tuft, instead he sported the cyan eyes that could stare right into your soul, at least, if Inky would ever get that freaking stare down. He always ended up smiling and giggling it off, and he had no idea how his father could remain so calm, and collected, but the cub did know he wanted to be just like him. A Hunter Elite, and likely some of the best out there, for sure.

Inchiostro ducked out of his mothers grasp, grinning as he bound towards his only half suspecting father; certainly, this ought to get his full attention. Both of Inkys ears quirked awkwardly; unable to keep their shape in the sudden momentum, the green ribbon starting to tug behind him. He went out the door, made two more paces, bunched his haunches, and leaped for his father.

"DAD!"

He yowled as he collided into his fathers half cloaked chest, feeling the large male shift and step backwards to half sit as Inky locked his needle claws into his cloak and climbed his way up. He scrambled for a better grip as he tried to climb onto Mihails back, tail waving for balance, and feeling the feline half lower to the ground as to not let Inky fall.

"Careful..."

Silly papa, he wasn't going to fall.

Inchiostro slipped, but the jaguars shoulder caught him just in time and allowing Inky to climb onto his head happily, seeing his sisters bounding over now to give their father the same amount of love. The cocky child was already asking his father a million questions, "Hello, hello, hi, hello!!! What took you so long? Why are you up so late? Where's the rest of your armor? You look tired, did you kick some empire butt? Don't you know you missed dinner? See, see, I told them you'd come, I knew it, didn't I? I stayed up for everyone, see?"

He paused, realizing someone else was looking at him, and he slowly sat up to look at a very tall brown and white feline, who's spiked collar glinted in the glow from the house. His face was shadowed by the moonlight behind him, the firelight illuminating his more boxy face and leaner build. There was a dark floof that came over his eyes in spikes, his amber eyes practically glowing in between the parted fur. Inky tilted his head.

"Who's this..?" he asked more slowly, hearing his father let out a soft breath.

"This is Judas..."

There was a long pause.

The cub smiled brightly.

"My mamma said she's gonna give you a piece of her mind," he sniggered, turning back to his father and snuggling his head some more with his sisters, "whatever that means, anyway."

Spaz helped me finish this with coloring and the like so it's kind of a collab still?

But I'm counting this as Inky's playing with family assignment ovo, total word count comes up to 1692 words!
