This colored pencil drawing of Robert Plant and Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin was was done with Prismacolor art pencils and was hand drawn from a photo I took from the Led Zeppelin DVD that I have. I wanted an original drawing so I figured this would be the best way to go about it. It was somewhat of a challenge to get my mind around doing the skin blue and Robert Plants hair pink, but was also fun to do the colors so different from a traditional picture of people.I plan on hanging this up in my Rock themed room of my basement along with other rock artists I have painted.

As a matter of fact, it was. Were you as blown away as I was with that performance? It has become my favorite live Led Zeppelin song ever since I watched it on the DVD. I think that is the reason I chose to do that drawing. Thanks

I agree totally. I have quite a few music DVD's and I don't beleive there are any other performances of songs that top that one. I just wish they would release that song, from that performance, on c/d. It is so much better than the studio version.
