Description ...I drew this for college Long story short, we had a group assignment in Childhood Psychology in which we had to bring magazines, from wich we would need to cut pictures out from to make a poster about one of the development theories- But silly me forgot to bring a magazine. TT7TT I didn't know anyone in my group and felt too awkward to ask for their magazines, so I doodled one of the examples of our topic and finished it at home. I think it turned out pretty nice overall - my group liked it, anyway x'D I still need practice with drawing babies, though- Also, you guys probably can guess that anyway, but Mysterious Faceless Adult here is England =7=

Just in case anyone's curious, our assigned development theory was Ethology! Very basically speaking, it says that all animal species are born with some biologically programmed behaviors that are 1. Products of evolution and 2. Contribute to survival. It's  believed that that's present in humans too, and that children have a variety of pre-programmed behaviors that'll help them survive and develop normally. A human baby's cry, for example, is considered a biologically programmed sign of anguish that attracts the caretakers' attention. It's also said that the caretakers are biologically predisposed to answer to these signs too!! So I drew that example xD

...I'm really mad at myself 'cause there was an Ethology-related question on the test, and I managed to get it wrong somehow. =A= I mean, I did pretty well on it anyway, but still--

Heh, America knows what he has to do to get his bottle. XD This is really adorable and it makes perfect sense that babies in general make those sounds because its a signal that attracts the attention of caretakers. I love the fact that you used America and England as an example of this behaviour. This is really too precious!

Hehe XD Thanks, I'm glad you like it so much!! As soon as I read about the example I could only think of them illustrating it

It's really cute!

Oh! You take Childhood Psychology at Uni? That's so coooool!   Ah! Sometimes forgetfulness actually makes thing better!
I also have difficulty showing different ages. ^^
"Mysterious Faceless Adult" hahaha XD Sounds like the title of a book. X'D
Ooooh! I didn't know about Ethology. That's really neat! You learn something new everyday. ^^

Aaaah, it's fine! Don't fret over it. ^^ What's done is done, and you said it yourself that you did well so.

Thanks!! ;w;

Yeah, it was one of my classes last semester!! It was pretty cool Hehe, yeah xD Later we had to make another poster on that class and they were like "Hey, you can draw, right??" and I got to draw some quick stuff for it ;7; It was fun- Pfft, it does kinda sound like the title of a suspense book XDD
Yeah, we got to learn about lots of different theories last semester! I'm pretty sure we'll learn more about them this semester, so I'm excited about that--

I know, haha xD I felt really silly about it, but now it's kinda funny to look back on it

Some of my favorite classes last semester were Behavior Analysis and Perception, Attention and Memory, they were really interesting! This semester some of my classes are related to psychological interviews and the fundamentals of psychopathology, where we learn about mental ilnesses and such-- There's also statistics, which I was really scared about due to it being math, but it's thankfully been pretty chill for the most part so far ;7;
I also started taking kendo classes this semester with a couple friends!! It's pretty weird and outside my comfort zone, but it's fun xD

Ah, those classes sound interesting. ^^
Oooh! Kendo lessons? that's neat! I like learning combat art too, I did judo when I was a kid and liked it. I prefer judo over karate because in karate you punch and kick people, whereas judo is actually not violent! You learn to make people fall and block their movements so as to render them immobile. It's a great forme of defense if you don't like violence and hitting people but still want to be able to defend yourself! That's why I like it. ^^
