Species: Hedgehog

Abilities/Skills: Can create rainbows in any form (like a weapon), can walk on rainbows & light, gifted artist & singer, flight, acrobatic
Weaknesses: She can actually die if out in the dark too long (there are no rainbows at night time, so...)
Likes: Drawing & painting, singing, rain, Shadow the Hedgehog, traveling all over the world, being with people, the element of surprise
Dislikes: Being underestimated, nighttime, makeup, boredom, Dr. Eggman, Rouge
Personality: Positive, down-to-earth, adventerous, curious, brave, can be nostalgic, tomboy-ish
Favorite Food: Sherbert
Favorite Drink: Hot chocolate
Special traits:
-She is very beautiful (or at least she's supposed to be
)-Although she appears very girly & harmless, she's actually a huge tomboy & can easily kick your ass
-Her eyes are normally grey, but they change color depending on her mood
-Since she can emit rainows & colors, like above, she can accidentally leave a rainbow trail when she's walking or flying.
-She has a crush on Shadow
-She was born from a rainow (did I mention rainbows yet?

This looks... Interesting, the art is better than others I've seen.
But I feel as though I may need to critic a bit on this picture. For one, she's missing a hand, the coloring is way too flat and her origin, abilities and/or existing is a very vague yet somewhat over used.
Again is not that bad but it needs work. Is not different from other Oc's sonic characters so it less identifiable.

Cute piece of art, but I'll have to agree with the other people who think she's sort of mary sue-ish. If nothing else, I suggest cutting out the colour changing eyes, since those are horribly overdone and don't make a ton of sense, though her powers and such make it slightly more plausible than others I've seen.

I know she's not super-original, but I don't think she's a Mary Sue. I'm glad you kind of see my point on her powers; I've also seen a lot with the color changing stuff, but I did it with her because, yeah, she's basically like a rainbow.

You have a very cute character and ya know i actually get your idea for the rainbow and age a Rainbow has been around for 100 or even 1000 of years but every time we see it looks young and fresh like if it has no age and forever young. And for her abilities i just say to advise weakness so not many people wont bother you is to when she uses one of her elements and stay on it for a little amount of time she gains weakness on the opposite element like if she use fire to much water is going to effect her more stuff like that. But you have an extremely cute character with an wonderful idea~

Let me make a list for ya.
1) Unique and Unknown powers from which there isn't a plausible explanation?
2) Comes in a unique fur color? Try 7.
3) Age Defying? looks 14 at 100+ years...
4) Has many talents that seem to spread to almost super natural proportions?
5) Is apparently the most beautiful thing in the world?
Also, this is probably the most conceited thing you could do imo.
6) Has many conflictions of her personality that somehow make her an even better character than she already is?
I am not saying these things to be mean, I simply pointed those above things out because you asked me why I thought she was a Mary Sue.
And trust me on this, there are a lot more things I want to say about your character, but I'm biting my tongue as it is not similar to the issue at hand.

I never called them Mary-sues. I'm saying basically from the description of a Mary Sue (I know what it fucking means. You can stop giving me a useless lesson to someone you don't even know over the internet) almost every character could be a Mary sue. Instead of bashing about me over some concept that hardly matters, go do something with your life, please. If you don't like her, just leave me alone, all right? I'm just gonna keep drawing her.

I'm not going to sit here and apologize for me being a person who thinks that a good character could become a great character, when the only person who is making it a crap character is the creator itself.
You can yell at me, or anyone else as much as you want when they call your character a Mary Sue, but until you get your god damned act together and actually start figuring out why they are saying such things, your character will continue to be seen as a Mary Sue.

And since you seem to be confusing "Mary Sue" for "Unoriginal", I'm finding your "I'm not Stupid" remark a bit laughable.
My Character has balance and a proper history. All you did was make a very adorable character, then turn it into just other generic overpowered crap character that would be on par with those "Re-colorings of shadow with powers like, 'Speed. Psychokinesis'."
