Description Here's Hanon Hosho/Housho, from one of my other favorite anime series, Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch! ^_^ She's actually not my favorite character (that would be Luchia), but she was easy to draw and I do like her a lot, so I got this idea. I have another one of Luchia that I need to color, so that'll be coming soon!

Also, I didn't have a red marker, so I had to color her bow on the computer... and of course, I stink at that. XD (My mouse is a bit hard to control sometimes.) So that's why it looks kind of funny in some places.

Hanon came out really beautiful! I especially love the way how her flowy blue hair was drawn and the way how you did her hands on the portrait version.

Another MMPPP fan! So, you like Hanon too, huh? Well, she is my fav character, and Luchia is alright too. ^__^ I can't wait to see the Luchia one. I have a few MMPPP fanarts in my gallery, because they are so fun to draw like Sailor Moon. O_O

You like MMPPP, too?! YAAAAY! I love Hanon, as well, but I guess that if I had to pick a favorite then it would be Luchia. XD I love her character design as a human--so cute! But, all of the characters are great in the series.

And the Luchia drawing is coming REALLY soon--I'm just missing a red marker to finish it off, but my friend's already sent it, so I'll be getting it in a few days. I'll scan it a.s.a.p. then! O_O And yaaay for Sailor Moon art, too!

I like Luchia's hair when she is in princess mermaid form, but it is a bit thick, though. X3 Tell me when you finish your new Luchia pic, k?

Yeah, that's true. XD But anyway... I finally did add it, but the colors don't look as nice as I had hoped. The scanner ended up messing up some of the quality. ;_; But, oh well~

Really? I know that it has gained a lot more popularity since the manga came out and everything, but I still run into a lot of people who have never heard of it. XD Oh well...

And I can't even remember how I found out about it, lol. It's been so long! Just somewhere on the internet, I guess.

Really? Not many people seem to know about it yet because the anime hasn't been released in the U.S. yet--but, I think it's sorta gaining popularity since the manga just came out here! It's a really cute series... I love the characters, and the songs. I've also always loved mermaids, so of course I like this~! XD It's definitely worth checking out.

Yep! I don't think the entire series is there (including the second season) but I know that you can find most of the episodes. I've only been able to see up to 12 so far, though... by letting them load overnight, which is a pain.

Lucia, Mermaid Princess of the North Pacific Ocean, sets out to land to find the boy she saved from a shipwreck seven years ago, the boy to whom she entrusted her pink pearl. She eventually found the boy, named Kaito Domoto. But the human form Lucia assumed, a girl named Lucia Nanami, doesn't have any resemblance to her mermaid form. But she also cannot tell Kaito who she really is; otherwise she would turn into foam. So she tries to convince Kaito into figuring out who she really is (since nothing was said about the other way around).

At the same time, Lucia has been told that a group of sea monsters have invaded the marine world and she had to gather the six other Mermaid Princesses and their pearls to resurrect the legendary goddess Aqua Regina to stop them. So to fulfill this, she joins forces with Hanon and Rina, both Mermaid Princesses who also came up to dry land, use their pearls, turn into singing idols, and use their voices as an offensive.

(It might sound kind of silly, but the anime and manga are both really interesting. I'd definitely recommend watching/reading both. The storyline keeps getting more interesting as it progresses...)

Thank you! I love them too, so that's why the series is one of my favorites. It's really cute!

And hmm, I'm not sure of how to describe it. XD It's not really like the Disney movie The Little Mermaid or anything... Wikipedia has a nice page about it that gives plenty of details, so you might want to check it out! [link]
