Ok I'm going to get really deep here(lookey here I dropped the quirk)
Dave has been through a LOT especially with the abuse from bro and just seeing how he was able to open up about everything to a total stranger that he met about an hour ago just really broke me. He hated Bro and probably hated Dirk too. This also really gave us a little bit more information about Dave. We didn't know much about him in all reality because of his cool kid facade so he never really showed emotions and personal traits.
Also c'mon look at how adorable that is.
