Finally! I've been wanted to start my own designer Disney characters for a while. I know a few people here on deviantArt have done it and their pictures are awesome. Just thought I'd throw my interpretation out there!
The designs for the Disney Princess dolls were so amazing that I really wanted to try and create a design that may fit into the line up. Not sure if I got it but I tried nonetheless.
So here is Merida from Pixar's Brave. I tried to get a bit of a cross between her princess dress, which she ends up ripping in the trailer, and her comfy looking dress. I also added the tiara which is on one of the Merida dolls being released.
Judging by what I can tell about her character, she would most likely hate this dress! But I did try and capture a bit of her rebellious nature in her expression and with the arrow behind her back. Kinda like she plans to burn the dress once she's allowed to take it off!!
Managed to get some tartan in there too
