((Bugs life win))

I FINISHED THIS MONSTER OF A SUBMISSION

Yup, so here's my entry to the Bug-off competition this summer- it's of poor Ren trying to catch bugs for Nat (the kecleon judge dude) And (to put it simply) failing miserably at them all. So I SHOULD BE OFF THE PURGE LIST NOW, HOPEFULLY This was a lot of fun to draw, I've never really done chibi before, so it was interesting trying to come up with a good design for Ren that could be easily manipulated and drawn. SO HERE! Also, FYI, I have never drawn ANY of these bug pokemon before, even Kecleon - so it was a lot of fun studying their anatomy and coming up with different poses for each.
I'd also like to give a big thank you to and for helping me on some decisions for the pictures and giving me good advice, THANKS GUYS

Also, decided to make the panels more interesting by making something in each one break the fourth wall Also, big FAIL on my part, I kept forgetting what size each panel was...that's why some are A LOT bigger than the other ones. I did try to enlarge the other images, but they just went pixelated and crappy >w I am well aware it suppose to be a speechless comic...but sadly the 'hyaaa!!' had to be included

Yanma used agility!! - Here Ren had managed to get the yanma in the net, sadly it swiftly zipped off out of the net swiping it right out of Ren's hands causing her to lose her balance - consequently ending up soaked. She was trying so hard too to reach over the water without falling in. Cheeky little Rascal.

Beedrill used pursuit ((or twineedle if you like))!! - We've all been there, walking through the forest just casually and SUDDENLY A WILD BEEDRILL APPEARS AND WANTS TO JAB THE LIVING DAY LIGHTS OUT OF YOU!! So poor Ren (again) was shaking tree's, as you do looking for spinerak, wurmple, any kind of bug really when suddenly, a nest falls out and cracks open. And, unluckily for Ren, the owner of that nest had seen the whole thing - Sending him in to a rage frenzy. She now knows never to go around shaking tree's; you never know when a Beedrill will be watching. ((FYI for the title, he literally pursued Ren))

Vibrava wants to play!!- Now, Ren did actually manage to catch a pokemon. After fleeing the beedrill she noticed a pair of familiar wings. Swinging her net she managed to catch the critter, it was a Vibrava! But as she held the little cutie in her hands she thought about what it'd be like if she were to keep the little guy (who seemed very friendly and keen to play). She thought about playing fetch with him in the future-expecting him to fully evolve. And what does that mean? That's right; she'd be playing fetch with a pet the same size as her...I somehow doubt she liked that idea seems a bit like whites enslaving the blacks. They're the same race, but one is dominant over the other. Safe to say she put the little guy back.

A wild Heracross appeared!! - As ren is heading home, tired, and dissapointed she couldn't catch a bug pokemon to give to Nat. When suddenly, while wading through bushes, she spots the majestic horn of a heracross! A heracross? BUT THEY ARE SO RARE! REN'S LUCK HAS FINALLY TURNED AROUND, AND LOOK AT HOW BIG HE IS! WOW, HE'S HUGE!! ((also, dem tree's were murder to draw. *cough* copy and paste win so only one tree had to be drawn ))

Flygon used Slam!! - Ren takes the opportunity, and unlike before-trying to be careful and tactical, she does the one thing you really shouldn't do when bug hunting. Attack them head on!...but sneak attack Ren leaps out the bushes with her Net above her head, swinging it down like a mighty thunder strike. Finally! She has her prize!

Game Over!! - Ren drags the pokemon to Nats tent and walks in as proud as can be. She gestures to her mighty beast, sucking in all the glory of her marvellous catch...however, Nat isn't exactly impressed. Ren may have caught a mighty beast, but there's a reason he was so big: He was Pippin, a resident of Pokette town! Ren had caught the kind hearted and gentle Heracross who was casually picking berries for his lunch that afternoon. Poor Pippin, too kind to say anything. he stands a little embarrassed at being dragged into this tent with a Net stuck on him. Because he was so big, he tore the net when Ren slammed it over him, cracking the handle and ripping the net. He must feel quite guilty about that too, despite the fact it wasn't his fault.

Lesson learned - Maybe Ren should remember to bring her Katana with her, or at least her Focus sash- until this day- she has never been hurt. But the one day she forgets to bring the sash- all hell breaks loose! No bug pokemon were hurt in the making of this comic, and Ren is making a full recovery from her injuries. Pippin is fine and was apologised to immediately after Ren found out it was him: they continue to be on good terms.

So there we are! Thank you to for letting me use his lovely character-without his cooperation and agreement; this comic would never have been made So thank you dear neighbour (also, I know eh looks more anthropomorphic in your style, but of drawing purposes I drew him as a 'normal' heracross, kept the hair- but made him less human like )
