Just a short update about the whole AI topic from my side.First of all- even though DA corrected their statements about the AI art from last friday--and excluded our artworks from their Dream-up AI /third partys etc. etc. Read here: https://twitter.com/arvalis/status/1591242450055892992 ( I don´t want to re-talk the whole situation again) -->I gained some mistrust in general now with the AI on the rise. This is why I am going to make some small changes for my upcoming artwork uploads on ALL my social media (because let´s be honest, your artworks aren´t safe anywhere these days from AI machines learning your style to copy it).Means for me:1) I will stay on DA (as mentioned in my status update)- anyone else who´s leaving (which I totally understand) can still find me here around the web: https://linktr.ee/RainbowPhilosopher 2) All new artwork upload from me in the future will be only in a small size and low quality. I will only sell full quality artworks (so at least AI will get blocked in the fist place copying my style, the lower the res the more problems the AI will have to learn from it) via download or to my monthly supporters from now on. This will make a huge difference, as I have always been very generous in giving away free high-quality wallpapers. I excuse for this, but to protect my artworks in these days it leaves me no other option.Just a small word from my mind about AI art in general:I have nothing against the use of AI for creating artworks, as long as it has an ethical code to it. An ethical code means for me : NOT PLAGIATING FROM ALREADY EXISTING ARTWORKS/PHOTOS!!!! When I photobash and use stock, I always make clear to give fair credit. I expect the same rule for AI art use. Define your sources, don´t learn and trace over already exisiting creations copying artists styles that never agreed to this and if you really need to: credit the sources & pay for their use!!!!I payed a lot of money for getting licensed stock and maybe that explains why that point especially angers me.I don´t wanna dive in here of the overall ethical issue with replacing human work etc. This would make the journal way too long.^^´ But I think you get my point what my problem with AI art is. ( and I am talking here not about DA AI, I mean all current AI on the web atm) AI art isn´t the end of human art, but it´s a step towards the future.
