Description
As they pulled up outside Dan's apartment, they looked to each other before Dan leaned over, pressing his lips softly against Phil's and lingering, breathing in the familiar scent of his boyfriend as he smiled into the kiss.
When he leaned away, he gave a small wave, grabbing the door handle as he was about to get out of the car, when Phil grabbed his wrist, making Dan look back at him, surprised.
"Phil?" he said, raising an eyebrow as the older man searched his face for a moment before he stammered out, "Dan, move in with me."
The brunette was taken aback by the sudden proposal, both eyebrows raised as he stared at his teacher, wondering what had brought this on as the older man suddenly began to gush.
"It's just, you come round mine so often and we're dating and I could take you to school every day more easily, cause we'd be under the same roof, and it'd be lovely to have you there, and-" Phil's eyes had moved from Dan's face, looking anywhere but into those beautiful brown eyes when he suddenly felt Dan's lips upon his own again, arms wrapping around his neck to draw him closer to the boy.
When they leaned away, Dan rested his forehead against Phil's, gazing into his eyes as he replied, "Yes, I'll move in with you."
It took a moment for the words to register before a large smile spread across Phil's face, lighting him up as he embraced Dan tightly, making the younger boy laugh as he hugged him back just as tight, burying his face into the crook of Phil's neck.
"I love you," Phil murmured against Dan's shoulder, startling the boy as he pulled back slightly, looking into his lover's eyes with shock displayed in his own, words soft as he whispered, "What?"
"I... I love you," Phil repeated, almost hesitantly before gaining courage in his words, "I love you Dan Howell, I love you and have since I first met you that day outside the college."
He stared at Dan, wishing the boy to say something as he stared back, shocked, before a beaming smile broke out onto his face, tears pricking the corner of his eyes as he said, "I love you too Phil."
They smiled, embracing as they murmured sweet nothings to each other, tears leaving wet tracks down Dan's cheeks as they pulled away, Phil smiling as he cupped the younger boy's cheeks and kissed away the tears before returning his lips to Dan's, all their love flowing freely as their lips connected.
When they finally separated, Dan quickly hopped out of the car as he ran inside his apartment, collecting as much of his belongings as he could before returning to the car, ditching his stuff in the boot before sliding into the passenger seat once more.
They kissed again, smiling happily as they drove to Phil's apartment; their apartment.
