Description
Sitting in the summer sun by a large tree, the fresh green leaves providing some shade as Dan rested his tired body against the soft blades of grass, he allowed himself to fantasize about his teacher, indulging in his thoughts as he grinned to himself, hands behind his head of chocolate locks and eyes closed as he imagined vividly what he wanted to do and have done to him by Mr. Lester.
There was a sudden shadow cast over him, his brow furrowing as he opened his eyes to see a freckled faced girl with slightly tanned skin and bright red hair looking down at him with the biggest smile that showed all her pearly whites.
"Hey!" She exclaimed cheerily, grey eyes sparkling as she beamed down at him, waiting for a reply.
"Hi..." Dan replied hesitantly, raising an eyebrow slightly as the girl continued to smile at him, deciding to seat herself down beside him, his eyes following her as she did.
"My names Cerise, meaning cherry red, it's a French name, did you know?" she spoke fast, her voice bubbling with happiness for no particular reason as she kept her gaze on Dan, her smile never wavering.
"I, uh, didn't, but that's pretty cool," he said, gazing at her with his eyes half lidded against the sunlight, wondering why this unique girl had come up to him.
She nodded, looking into the distance as she began to talk again, "And your name is Dan, which I believe is from a Hebrew origin, meaning 'God is my judge', which is totally cool," she commented, looking down at the tanned boy again, who nodded, eyes closing against the bright light as a soft breeze brushed against them.
She thought he looked adorable like that and gave a slight giggle, Dan raising an eyebrow at the sudden noise.
"I guess you're probably wondering why I came over," she said with a sigh, resting her head against her hand as she looked off to the greenery around them, other students lying around and soaking in the summer sun, "There's this cool nightclub that all my friends want to go to and they wondered if you wanted to come too. They were all too embarrassed to ask, so they sent me to do it, which is cool, although I'm unsure if my presence is annoying you or not," she looked down at him from the corner of her pale eyes.
Dan shook his head, smiling as he did, opening his eyes and planting them on the girl before him, as he said, "Nah, you're pretty interesting; you're not bothering me at all."
Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink, her peachy lips turning into a bigger smile as her eyes shone, shaking her head as she replied, "Why thank you."
He smiled at her, sitting up as students began heading to class as the bell went, picking up his bag as he stood, her slim frame following suit as she picked up her brown sling over bag, buttons and badges engulfing the material.
"So will you come to the party?" she asked somewhat shyly, looking up at him through her bangs, her slender hands clasped together in front of her light blue denim, short dungarees as they began to walk across the field to their lessons.
"Sure, it sounds awesome," Dan replied, looking down at her with a smile, his dimples displayed and he could have sworn he heard her 'aww' at the sight.
"Great!" she said, lifting her hands in front of her face and clapping, dancing from foot to foot and making Dan laugh, her bubbling laugh following suit as they made their way into the college building.
She fished a red pen and crumbled paper from her bag, leaning against the wall as she scribbled down the address of the club, handing the note to him with her amazing smile, as he thanked her.
"So what lesson do you have now?" she asked, her leg bent and resting against the other as she placed a hand on her opposite hip, looking up at him with a question in her eyes.
"Media," he said with a smile, already feeling his stomach flutter and heart warm at the word, knowing its meaning.
"Nice! I've got Art, so I'll see you later?" he nodded in reply, her arms outstretching as she engulfed him in a friendly hug, making Dan laugh again as he squeezed her back. When she pulled back, she saluted him with a wink, running off down the corridor as she exclaimed, "Bye Dan!" giving him a wave as he waved in return, shouting back, "See ya Cerise!"
He shoved his hands in his pockets as he began walking to Media, hearing a familiar chuckle from beside him. Turning his head, Mr. Lester began walking beside him, a smile on his pale face.
"Making friends Dan?" he inquired as the tanned boy laughed, face lighting up as he did, nodding a reply as he looked to his teacher, chocolate eyes sparkling.
His teacher chuckled, patting him on his lower back as they continued to walk to their lesson, Dan smiling all the way while the other watched him with questioning blue eyes.

Phil sighed, spinning in his office chair to face one of the windows, looking out to the blossoming tree outside, noticing a certain tanned male lying beneath it, smiling away, most likely day dreaming about something.
He found himself smiling as he watched the boy, taking in his perfect image, black, knee length jeans and light blue shirt, a smiling robot printed on the front with the words 'I love you' beneath image.
Suddenly a flash of red caught Phil's eyes, his gaze darting to a girl skipping merrily towards Dan and leaning over him, her dyed, bright red hair licking her shoulders and hiding her face, slim arms holding slender hands clasped together behind her back, bangles and colourful wristbands handing loosely from her slim wrists.
He saw Dan open his eyes at the disturbance, his eyebrow raised as he peered at the girl who seemed to be talking to him, his mouth moving as he made replies to her words.
She soon sat beside him, drawing her legs towards her chest and wrapping her arms around them, Phil noticing the white, knee high socks with a green strip at the top, the same colour as her worn and loose converse on her feet.
He could see her face more clearly now as she peered at Dan, her face freckled lightly with shinning grey eyes, a smile never leaving her face. Even from here, Phil could tell she was a bubbly girl, her words making Dan laugh which caused jealousy to surge through Phil as he watched with his hands clasped together in front of him, blue eyes blazing with conflicting emotions as the two continued to talk and laugh, both smiling at each other.
He wondered if they were flirting, if she was trying to get Dan to notice her to ask him out and this made Phil surprise himself at the immense hatred and jealousy that flooded through him at the thought.
The bell went, a sigh leaving his pale lips as the students stood, still laughing as they walked towards the building to return to their classes. Phil stood too, sighing as he did and making his way out of his office and down the few corridors to his Media class, looking up to see Dan and the girl talking, both still smiling as she scribbled something on a piece of paper, handing it to him with an amazing grin, Dan thanking her as she asked him his next lesson.
As Phil drew closer, he could hear them more clearly, but held back as they spoke a moment longer, her arms outstretching and engulfing him in a tight hug, his laughter heard throughout the corridor as he squeezed her back. As she drew away, she saluted him with a wink, making her way down the corridor as they waved each other goodbye, Dan's dimples displayed with his smile as he turned around, shoving his hands in his pockets as he began walking towards the Media theatre.
Phil took his moment, springing out from his hiding spot and giving a chuckle, alerting Dan to his presence as the brunette looked to his side, a smile gracing Phil's lips as he walked beside his student, asking with masked intentions, "Making friends Dan?"
Dan laughed, his face lighting up as he did, nodding a reply to his teacher as Phil chuckled in return, patting Dan's lower back as they continued their walk to the theatre, a smile permanently on the brunette's face as Phil watched him with questioning blue eyes, wondering what he thought of the girl and what she had written on the note that she had given Dan.
