Bioware first wanted to allow the player to save both Ashley and Kaidan on Virmire in their second playthrough after sacrificing one of them on their first playthrough. If romancing Liara, both would have ended up in a romantic relationship, just like Tali and Garrus. This inspired me to bring awareness to that lovely possibility as I'm shipping both of them quite a lot.
It was fun to create this, I loved to look at them and the color of Ash's underwear made it even more pleasant. I love that hue, especially on her skin!
I was wondering what people would think about the piece and the couple, expecting some sort of resentment because most Ashley fans hated Kaidan and most Kaidanmancers hated Ashley. However, I love them both. I just wish Ash had been available to Femshep like initially planned. 
I remember making more than one couple in this pose, but I don't think I still have them on my harddrive. I had a blue version with Liara, too, and a red version with Femshep, but I don't ship either and hence, didn't really miss them in my gallery. I've learned that creating for ships that I truly liked was more fun and easier to do, especially easier to finish.
What do you feel when looking at this artwork? Is the posing natural enough? Is it easy to look at or is there room for improvement? I appreciate your constructive feedback!

I think the strong point of this work is the posing of the characters, both the facial expressions and the bodies, in combination with the partially outlined background: the poses feel lifelike, natural and strongly suggest there's a strong "magnetism" between the two characters, while the background (some out of the way corner on the Normandy? Can't help thinking it's the shower in the Captain's quarters...) is mostly hidden from view by what looks like steam and conveys the idea of a sensual and yet unforeseen rendezvous between the two lovers, just like the two of them met unexpectedly on their ship and then couldn't resist the temptation of getting together. An additional little detail I find interesting is the "art-nouveau"-style border which reminds me of the frame seen in DAI tarot cards and thus makes me think this could work fine as part of a set of ME-themed "Lovers" tarots.
Having experience working with XNALara/XPS I know that creating a realistic lighting is quite a time-consuming effort: that could be the one area where there is still room for improvement in this work. Maybe adjusting the light (which currently seems to shine in a uniform way on both characters) such that parts of their figures are differently illuminated? A more darker area on the lower part of the bodies (i.e. at the bottom of the picture) could work nicely, giving the impression that light is coming from somewhere above them (e.g. from a neon light on the ceiling of the cabin's shower? e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s… " width="15" height="15" alt="

Kaidan Alenko and Ashley Williams started of as soldiers that later became really close friends,having witnessed such a tremendous scenario with these two together says a lot about how they feel about each other,Special People with a great passion for being heros and heroines of the galaxy at the same time,the bond that brings them together is so immaculate and very meaningful.
These two lovebirds truly deserve one another as partners that should watch each others backs as well as work together even protect each other in order to survive this dangerous small world and short-life they have to live.

Actually, the background is just a wall. The mist is an actual XPS model which I really love! (Have a version of the blowjob one with Ash standing next to them in the mist, but it's been a little too creepy to be released)

Thank you. Ash in the mist looks fabulous as well, but she's kinda disturbing the two and can be read as a ghost which would give it a dark and macabre atmosphere.
I think this is my new fav set in her closet.

They are so sexy and together even more.
Since the file upload did not work (Meh.), I have to describe it.
I used selective color adjustment on several parts and many times, dodge and burn, a lighting filter, noise filter, of course, the before image was edited already, all edges cut off and all texture lines erased, I painted some parts of Ash's hair even. The file was 140 mb, lol. Had a ton of layers, but this happens all the time. Someday I'll be forced to delete some of them.
