Let's be real. We all felt bad for DogDay, and we all wanted to save him. When I saw Doctor Citrute, a Smiling Critters OC by drn1234 that I gave them the idea of, I immediately got this scenario in my head of her finding DogDay in his broken state. She would free him and patch him up as best as she could, then take care of him while helping the player

And yes, DogDay initially thought that she was dead at first, so it made him incredibly happy to see her again
