"...G,good....b...ye..."

You shot up with a start, {y/n} eyes searching, looking, gazing around frantically. The room you were in was dark, so dark that you could barely see your own hands in front of you. If loneliness had a smell...this room reaked of it. This presence you felt was more then unsettling and you squinted your eyes a bit, the silence of the room draping over you like a blanket. 'Hello....?'you thought within the silence. Your lips felt dry and you licked at them, attempting to get up only to realize that some invisible force was making it impossible. As if something was holding you down...

"G....good...bye...."

That voice. Your eyes squinted a bit as if you were remembering something that had been forgotten. You strained and let out a frustrated sigh, trying your hardest to stand as the eerie feeling of someone watching increased the more you struggled. The invisible weight shoved you down and you practically yelped, wincing slightly as you did. Your lips moved but no sound could be heard as you tried to yell out to whomever or whatever was struggling to speak, struggling to get your attention. Straining more, you shut your eyes tightly and tried getting up once more until you saw it. A figure buried so deep within the shadows you were wondering if it was really there or not. The figure in the far corner seemed to be watching or least that's what it felt like....

'Hello?' is what you wanted to say but forgot that your voice could no longer reach past your lips.

Finally tired of restraining against the force, you just sat there. Staring back at the motionless figure with some hope that you're stillness would somehow free you from the invisible confines. Within the silence you could almost here the sound of someone sobbing quietly. You leaned forward and watched as the figure began to move it's way out of the shadows until it was seen...until he was seen. His eyes bled at a drastic pace that it began to pool and create a liquidy puddle of red beneath him. Skin so ghostly pale. You shook and he tore his eyes away from you as if the sight of seeing your face hurt him internally. "Don't...forget...."He spoke again and lowered his head, sobbing once again. The blood spewed out of his eyes and you gasped as the puddle grew immensely, trying to speak and say 'who?' but it was hopeless. The male paid no heed to your attempt of reaching him as he cried relentlessly, streams of blood rushing down pale cheeks and gathering onto the floor in nasty heaps. The male kept repeating himself between his tears, the piles of blood gathering and expanding until they weren't even puddles anymore. The bloody tears reached you and began covering your shoes, then your lower half. Tears and tears of blood flowed out of him and you screamed in the inside, trying to reach him, get to him but you couldn't.

"Don't f...orget..m-me..."Red eyes finally lifted and you could not tear your eyes away...it was nearly impossible and as you gazed back at him, the blood steadily rose until you were drowning in it.

No. No. No. No!

"...{Y/n}?"

Your eyelashes felt like they were glued together but they slowly began to flutter open only to meet a worry filled pair of deep green eyes staring back at you. It was Trent. A relieved sigh left his lips as soon as your eyes opened, moving his arms to gently embrace you in a hug. The movement of it made your ribs ache and you gasped slightly, just now realizing how sore your body was. Trent pulled away a bit and shook his head with a small purse of his lips"Sorry".

You nodded and blinked a few times, noticing that the room you were in was painted a bleached white. It was only a dream. You shifted a little, the crinkling sound of thin paper rustling beneath you. Tilting your head, you glanced down only to see that your clothes were replaced with an itchy pale blue gown. It took you this long to realize that you were in the hospital. There was a throbbing in your head that seemed to ache every single time you blinked. You bit your lips softly, fingers rubbing along your forehead only to feel the soft material of a bandage. Wait...bandaged? Trent's expression was grave and he slowly reached over to hold the hand that was on your head but as always you pulled away from his grip. He wasn't surprised by this so he decided to gaze into your eyes instead.

"I am so so...sorry"

Why was he apologizing? Your {e/c} eyes stared into his and in that brief moment you could see many emotions, a few of them being regret, guilt, and worry.

As he said those words, you didn't know how to respond at first because you weren't exactly sure what had happened. "...Why are you saying sorry?"you muttered with a sleepy tone to your voice. You just couldn't stop thinking of that dream, those words, that boy. All of your thought could only focus on that one certain thing not including the annoying throb in your head. Trent seemed awed by this and shook his head, his eyebrows creased together in confusion. "Wait, you're saying you don't remember?"he asked, green eyes staring intently. With no response from you, he quickly talked through the gap in the conversation"You were in a car accident"he raised a brow"We...we both were"his voice had gotten quiet and you began to close your eyes.

In that instant, memories of the crash slammed into you. The fear you felt when you saw the headlights, the shock of the impact. In one quick jolt, a more hidden memory started to rise to the surface. Voice...blurred voices of different kinds and a face. A face you could not get out of your head. A face that even showed in your dreams. A face that you wanted to see again more then anything...

But why?

Your eyes opened"I remember..."you whispered and Trent blinked as he apologized once more, swallowing so hard that it was visible. You knew he was upset about this and shook your head feebly. "Don't be...."Before you could say anything else, the sound of the door opening alarmed both of you. A middle aged man walked in with a clipboard, his expression gentle but held a seriousness along the lines. He wrote something down on the board with his pen before pulling up a stool with wheels on it to sit beside you and Trent. "How are you feeling?"he addressed the question towards you and you could only shrug your shoulders since nodding would only make your head throb even more. "...Fine"Was all you said. The doctor nodded and asked you a few more questions and after a while you and Trent were taken to the waiting room.

You stopped walking as soon as you saw a familiar figure sitting in one of the many rows of plastic blue chairs. Her smile larger then you'd ever seen it. Aunt Maci. "Oh, I was so worried~!"she exclaimed and tsked under her breath, giving the doctor a kind (fake...) expression. "Thank you doctor, I don't know what I would've done if my wittle {y/n} was badly hurt!"she pouted and the doctor grinned a little while Trent simply gulped. He was the only person besides you that knew how your Aunt truly was. "Well, that's what I'm here for, to care for my patients"he chuckled slightly"You three have a good night and be safe"were his final words before he walked off. Maci pulled you into a tight hug"She's safe in my hands~...."you heard her whisper even though the man was long gone. Your arms shook slightly as if you could almost see your Aunt's smile become sickly, her nails purposely digging into the skin of your back. They kept digging and you mentally whimpered as the skin beneath them began to pierce and draw blood"Nice....and safe..."

Trent had offered Aunt Maci if he could drop me off home instead but she had refused the idea more then twice. You walked the slowest you could towards the car but knew that you couldn't stall for long. She slid into the drivers seat and shut the door but didn't start the engine...not yet. You stopped and got down on one knee, pretending that you needed to retie your shoe. No...you didn't want this but her intentions were clear on her face the second she was outside of the hospital.

You switched feet, retying the other shoe as well. After a while of this, you knew you couldn't stall any longer. Your time was up. You opened the door and slid in the passenger seat, not wanting to close the door but did it anyway. Silence. The car was so quiet that you could hear your own breathing. "You just never listen....."she finally said and you shuddered, her voice was different. You could barely even recognize it. "You just...never listen"she repeated and you gripped onto your seat belt as hard as you could as you heard the very sound that you dreaded most.

The car doors locking....
