~ Name: Raindrop Lily

~ Gender: Female

~ Species: Pegasus

~ Family: Nocturne Lotus (mother) and Sugar Poppy (sister)

~ Appearance: Petite and often mistaken for a filly. Her bright silver coat would blend into the clouds if not for her cascading curls: smoky mauve spirals with highlights of orchid and sunny yellow. Her eyes resemble a clear blue sky.

~ Cutie Mark: The sun shining through a storm cloud. As she always tries to, whether calming an actual tempest, or simply stormy feelings. She tries her best to bring optimism and hope, always ready to lend a helping hoof.

~ Personality: Lily may seem a bit shy and reserved at first, but her enthusiasm bubbles over with her sister and close friends. She loves art, music, animals and nature. She finds beauty everywhere she goes.

She has a joker side and loves to make others laugh. She's more athletic than most expect, sometimes stubborn to a fault, and tries to solve her problems alone. She covers her sadness with a smile and giggles when she's nervous.

She hates conflict and is normally the peacemaker; however, she is protective of her loved ones and can have an impulsive temper when defending them. Don't be mean to anyone--you might just find a storm cloud over your head.

~ Occupation: Weather control. She is often called to tame harsh winds and angry lightning, continually surprising even her closest friends. She also volunteers in the local gardens, nudging clouds as needed.

~ Background: Lily grew up in Cloudsdale, admiring the small town of Ponyville below. Though she thought the sky was beautiful, she also appreciated all of nature on the ground. She daydreamed about living among the sweet scent of flowers, and the swaying branches of trees. She always enjoyed field trips and never wanted to leave.

Lily was a late-bloomer who struggled to keep up with her fellow Pegasi. She secretly felt embarrassed, laughing at herself and trying to hide her weakness. A gust of wind was enough to knock her down, but the more she was teased, the harder she tried to brace it. The problem was, her sadness only made the winds around her grow stronger.

It took many failures and disappointments to understand that wind wasn't her enemy. It didn't have to push her down, it could push her forward. She realised her curse was a blessing in disguise; since then she has looked for the silver lining in dark times, determined to find it for herself and others. She still unintentionally shifts the winds, but usually only into a pleasant, gentle breeze.
