Hello!I really want to improve my art by add purpose or some ideology into my art. Because I don't want my art to be something that I can show off artistic skill, or something that just 'oh cool~!' or 'Cute!'.
I want my art to glazed with meaning, reflect life and our society, for example.
But it's really hard!
So what I draw here is nothing deep, just sketch aimlessly.

I really think this is wonderful. The light colors and plushies are love. It's like when you're a kid and your toys are your friends and comfort. then, you grow up and sometimes you want to just disappear (into the monster world) or go back to being a kid; that's what this means to me.

I think that's something we all want as artists, right? That we want our work to mean something as opposed to it being somethin' pretty that hangs on the wall? When you draw just to show off, it seems rewarding for a while.
But I think what makes an artist is passion and imagination.

The emotion of this picture is deep and immersive. : )
Mixing the 'real life' (the girl and her emotions) with some 'fantasy' details (the creatures) is a nice concept, and enhance the idea between the reality and our dreams.
The girl seems sad (or maybe worried) and finds solace with these 'creatures' that seem to be stuffed animals (it is exact?).
Your point of view is at least very original and very expressive.
Ah, yeah, about the technical side, the soft pastels colors fits with the context of this artwork. A nice choice. ^^

You might not have thought of a meaning behind it, or still can't. But when others look at this, I'm sure they have their own thoughts and ideas behind it, sort of applying what they see to themselves.
This I see as learning to love something/someone that no one else has. Looking beyond and within the heart of how that thing or person truly is. Kind of like not judging and actually getting to know them. And together, as you hold them close to you and loving them, you start a new life with them. A beginning of a new story. (:
Others might just see this as 'cute' and go 'oooh cool!'. But to others this is so much more. So don't give up... you'll learn to show your thoughts and ideas within your art. Sometimes you even just doodle things and then got to wait until a while to realize what you meant when you drew it. C:
