Since this is a homestuck project, unfortunately cannot pay due to legal issues, but we are making this demo reel worthy.

We drew really really fast and we sold our souls.
Based off the lovely “Real Men Wear Tights” (realmenweartights.com ) fanfiction by bananaramses.tumblr.com (who we hopefully didn’t give to much a heart attack by making this!!!!))

BR: THIS IS A THING THAT YOU NEED TO WATCH IMMEDIATELY. STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND INVEST IN THE BEST FIVE MINUTES OF SUPERHERO JOHNKATS EVER.

From the title, can you guess which AU is getting a five minute long animation? Hint: this one. This one is. Yeah, so, this is the most beautiful thing already, but Jove and Raine actually plan to fully animate it. They just decided to do this thing on their own. Guys, that’s five minutes. The storyboard is already inconceivable. Can you even? Because I sure can’t. I really can’t even. I knew Jove and Raine were working on something together, but when Sgt. asked if I wanted spoilers or a surprise, I decided to risk future-me’s health and went with the surprise. I did not freak out quite enough to have a heart attack (I’m sure I was close), but I was smiling like an idiot the entire time I was watching this.

Raine said that if you’re interested in helping out with the animation, send her an ask !

Jove: I helped someone do a thing for someone and it was really fun 0v0 Thanks for letting me help out, Rainekitty and Sgt too for suggesting and inviting me! We’re all super hyped that BR liked it >w<

If anyone wants to offer their souls to work on this with us, head on over to the ask link BR provided up there. We have johnkat and… men in tights. nailed it.

Raine: YES! OMG woulda taken so much longer to complete without. I love you Jove. But yes. Souls will be offered up to continue on this. We already have…some concept art. And lists. So many lists…I got a cold and my animation is poppy while sick otherwise we would have a few scenes already done. All the scenes are actually split up at this point and it looks like…a lot. So many files. All the files. Wow.
But like BR said, we are planning on fully animating this, and…yes. We’re not art machines(SGT seems to disagree), so we do need help making this entirely and awesome. SGT also said to a thing we wanted to include…but will for the final animation. So…super secret scene near the end. Which won’t see the light of day for like…a year?
But yes. can tots send me an ask if you’re interested.
