ahh halfXjay was my otp back in the day, man. it was before i realized most warriors couples are pretty terrible.
i have been meaning to redraw this for a while now. i hated how oddly chonky and disproportional Half Moon looked, and it's all SO BLAND. also i couldn't hecking draw animals from the front back then so take that, child me!
this is based on a canon scene, btw. pretty sure it's the last sentence in an Omen of The Stars book.
it's kinda bittersweet now that i think about it... after like 100 years, she's still in love with her Jay's Wing, but Jayfeather is his own cat now. idk, afterlife in warriors is weird.
