Once again it is Findis who has to model for this

I was never quite clear about the young dragons, what grows first, horns or flight feathers and such... now we know.

For those further interested: These dragons are very social animals, they live in small colonies of twenty to thirty individuals. All grown dragons help raise the young, and they stay with their relatives until long after they can fly, sometimes their whole life. Only when the population grows to big for the area, they move off to found new colonies, and even then they often stay together with their siblings. The females lay 1-3 eggs into a shallow pit on the floor of their cave, and guard them (in turn with other family members) from predators until they hatch, which is a relatively long time of 8 months. They will not lay eggs again until their babies have at least learned how to fly. Dragons don't produce many offspring, so they take good care of the few they have, to give them the best chances of survival.

Stimmt, und es zeigt auch schön die allometrischen Veränderungen außer dem Kindchenschema. Die wolleartigen Daunen finde ich zum Beispiel ne tolle Idee, errinert mich an Eulenküken

How long did this take? I don't think I'd have the endurance for something like this.

I think it took three days from start to finish, but I never worked all day. I'm not a very patient person either, but I found a good method is to listen to audio books or radio shows while working.

I've a question: What will it cost to buy a dragon like this? ._.

if you win one at an adoption, it costs nothing. if you want one right now, or a custom one, we'd have to talk about it. write me a note!
