In some countries (including mine
) this gesture, secretly crossing the fingers behind your back, means that you're lying. For example, little children sometimes do this while promising something they don't really intend to do, and later, when their parents scold them because they didn't do it, they say "I didn't really promise it, I crossed my fingers!" A half coloured version of the photo was requested by JPIshiro.

Haha, now I understand what you meant! Though I think b/w photos (B/N is bianco/nero, right?) also can have a positive look. But yeah, in this case the tone might support the concept. This version (half coloured) is my favourite, too, b/w also fits and I now also consider the coloured version to be much too lurid.
About the concept: It's the gesture in the photo, crossing your fingers behind your back means that you are lying. Maybe this gesture is not so common in Italy? I only know that it exists in Germany, no idea how widespread it is.
