no manual. autofocus drives me nuts when it comes to moving subjects and I'd rather it be my fault than the camera's when it turns out blury.Β

Yeah, I did too in the beginning and still do from time to time. It does have it's advantages, it can act a lot faster in focusing on something than my hands can, I can't deny it that andΒ it has come in handy.Β

i also use it from time to time when the auto focus fails to pick up on what i want to focus on
also in fast paced action scenes i would use the focus mode "AI servo" on my camera which is a canon eos 20d.
do you know what it means? (i do already)

if you focus on something close up and then focus at something far away, your camera focuses on it automatically. my dad (who is a photographer) told me its good for moving objects, such as horses.Β
