Despite what plenty of people keep trying to claim, some physical traits actually are defining aspects of a character, even when the defining aspect is how others perceive them, or their response to those expectations and treatment...

So yeah, this is what a comic accurate version might look like... You don't have to imagine anymore. Do you feel differently about the character seeing him this way? Because that's kind of the whole point. For good or ill of it, that difference is exactly why it matters.
