EDIT: I'm gonna get her proper other side view done so her mane is clearer from both sides!This is my entry for moggymawee 's OC contest!

Talent ~ Aerial, clear from her appearance, has an untouched skill of the manipulation of clouds and winds. As she is the Guardian of the Sky, she harnesses the magic of walking on air despite her lack of wings. For her, wind gliding, as they call it, is just as simple as trotting on land. She is however very reluctant towards walking on the ground as it puts pressure on her bones and muscels due to the increased gravity. For this reason, Aerial has mastered wind gliding.
History ~ Aerial Angel is part of a rare family of Guardians of which have been living since nature first took its course. There is a Guardian for every element, and so Aerial is the spirit of wind and clouds. The birth of a Guardian such as Aerial is an event unseen by any living pony. For Aerial, she was birthed of the first breath of wind that graced the lands. She and her sisters work in harmony to maintain balance among their elements. But of course, there would be no need for Guardians had it not been the threat of dark forces against the very elements of nature.
Aerial herself, along with her other sisters, are not just around to just sit pretty, but are there to defend their element from the darkness that wishes dominance over them. Over her many thousands of years, Aerial has managed to fight off her pursuing demons in graceful, yet deadly, desplays of her powers. But with every battle, she has been growing weak while her enemies grow stronger. For this reason, Aerial has been travelling the lands in hope to create some distance and allow her to regain some of her strength.
The numbers of her pursuers are beginning to rise, which has given Aerial a new mission to locate her sisters and unite and defeat these creatures for good. Luckily, Aerial camnot be seen by the common pony and so she does not draw dangerous attention. However, there are few that can see Aerial and the other Guardians. Those that have a heart of gold and mind of steel can sense the presence of a Guardian and can even see them. Aerial herself has not yet encountered anypony who can see her. Little do any of the Guardians know that these ponies that can see them may be the key to stopping the darkness.

You really could write fanfics. You always right really good history segments, or backstories to all of your OCs. I really want to see more of these. They are so fascinating and intriguing. I love them so much.

Thank you! <3 Years back I used to roleplay a lot online so I used to love creating backstories and all these different concepts. Looks like some of the creativity has stuck with me :3 And who knows, I may be putting some story ideas to something bigger later.

Well I roleplayed on quite a few sites actually. I started on Moshi Monsters and I sucked. I mean I was awful with my mary sue characters but I loved it. :3 Then I used to roleplay here on a really old account. But then I found Warriorcats RPG which was heaven for all roleplayers. I was there for a while but at some point I just lost my love for it. So I came back here and decided to make an OC. And ta-dah! Here I is. x3

It's great if you stick to it, but it takes so much effort. xD Like, one of my friends here roleplays and he's so freakin' talented at it! I mean when he describes a character he puts in all the thought that would go into drawing up a character!

Sounds like he really loves to role play. Is he good at writing too? I bet if he is a good role player then he must be good at making up stories which would lead to writing. I'm just guessing that it would work.

YES you finally turned them into a species and omg I Am in love with the guardians! Such a cool concept XD and they look so pretty ;3; I'm guessing that even without a horn she can do powerful magic? I dunno why you'd wanna give her up she's so pretty XD ugh I feel more pressure no body can live up to such awesome designs jay!!!! Hehehe, I quite enjoy the concept myself! <3 I can just take so much inspiration from the elements! :3 Yeah, whether it's wings, horns or nothing all Guardians have magic within them! But they can only make magic that is related to their element. So Leavella wouldn't be able to levitate anything unless it was a leaf or tree. So they're not overpowered in a sense. xD But they are very skilled in their element!
I'm a tad reluctant to give her away but I feel as though I'd neglect her so I'd rather give her to someone who'd pay more attention to her. xD Hey now, my designs are not all that awesome. And i just remembered that I've had Autumn in my Ponies to Draw folder for ages! I need to draw her soon!

so true - the elements have such natural beautiful shapes and colours that were almost created to go together. It really makes for some interesting and beautiful designs. So it's basically like the unicorns of the show? They can all do simple things but they can only really do magic to do with their talent - but in this case their element. I must say I love that idea and the whole walking on air just seems so graceful I love it.
I know how you feel, I hate designing new OCs because I always get worried I won't find any time to use them 
Very exciting indeed! I have a summer holiday soon and hopefully I will be done my commissions by then and if I am lord knows I have to do a comic for/with you about the guardians...

Yeah, they're basically unicorns in a sense, but with their element. Can't have them being able to control every spell out there now can we? Ah yes, I enjoy the air gliding thingy. I'm actually drawing a fair bit of inspiration from that game Okami. I'm thinking of a tiny detail for Leavella, that when she walks she leaves small leaves of all sorts where she stepped. And then the longer she stays in one place, small tree sprouts slowly grow around her hooves. Hehe, I took a fair bit of that from Okami actually. x3
I feel the same way! I'm a little hesitant on expanding my OC family. I really don't wanna neglect anyone of them! Hehe, whenever I see that face I always think of you and how much I see you using it. xD

Yea exactly XD I guess that's another reason I love them - it's all fine and dandy making a new species but making them overpowered just ruins it. Even if they are extremely good at controlling their element it still leaves them with weaknesses which I find perfect XD I had another friend tell me about Okami and now you've mentioned it I may have to actually check it out XD I definitely love the design of the wolf thing whatever it is... forgive me of my ignorance haha But yes I love the whole trail of leaves - I was thinking the guardian I have in the works leaves a trail of something (I don't want to ruin it yet

Yessssss, you must play Okami! Like for realzies it's so gorgeous <3 I mean I would keep going on about how beautiful the art direction, soundtrack, story and characters are but I would go on for ages. So I'll spare you that. But just know that you've gotta play it! Or at least watch a walkthrough of it.

Same it would be so cool and that whole concept you said about the darkness taking over the elements and how certain ponies were the key to helping defeat them sounds like it could make for an awesome story! Im getting the chills thinking of how cool this would be and it would be 10x better/easier/interesting working on it with you

Well in that case i recommend Chuggaconroy's walkthrough since it's all complete and he knows what he's doing and gives some interesting facts throughout it! The other you could go for is Cryaotic's, I'm watching it at the moment, but he's really slow at uploading and may not follow through with it. So I'd go for Chugga's. :3
I wish I had the skills to draw that out! Hell that would be so amazing! They'd look all badass and just unlike any other <3
Perfect base plot for a comic! It's gonna be soooooo fun to do! I literally cannot wait until it gets underway! Although I'm guessing we're gonna have to plan everything out in advance and design all the elements with separate personalities and wow it's gonna be a lot of work but I'm all for it! Teamwork :3

you DO have to skills and I know it - It would just take hella long XD I may have a go at drawing two together and her their elements entwined. Much more to my capabilities haha
eeeeekkkk excitement! Yea I think it's best otherwise we may hit a wall or something. It would mean the actually drawing could go a lot quicker and the story would flow a lot better and make more sense I think especially if there was an actual end in sight. Heck we can already start with the rest of the designing and we can toss story ideas back and forth until you feel its right :3 (although notes are probably best so theres not too much comment spam XD - or if you have Skype you can add me) We don't have to start the actual com icing for a while but concepts are the most important part anyways.

Heheh, that's what I do, just watch a walkthrough while drawing. It's really relaxing and gives me background noise so I feel safe in a way. xD
Well I really wanna give it a shot! I'm gonna have to rewatch every MLP episode so I can just observe their backgrounds and all the things that they do to help me. I used to do that when I was learning to draw ponies and it helped so much :3
Gotta have a good plan set out. I'm following one particular comic at the moment and the person has everything planned out to the very end and it's going really well I'll say! So we'll have a fair bit of planning and designing! I like the idea of throwing some ideas around :3 Although Skype has never quite worked out for me. I tried it twice and it freaked me out for some reason... I know, I'm weird. Yeah, I can see us being a while just getting everything sorted before we start it.

Anything in silence is terrifying. xD It just feels somewhat less lonely. And that means the burglars sneaking around will hear the TV and know not to go into that room since I'm there. Always positive thinking!
Indeed! And the whole running away from Skype isn't even an exageration! xD It'll definitely be a whole load of fun working on it, that's for sure!
