ARTIST NOTES: For the opening of this new account, I thought it would be fun to revisit one of my favorite 'old' pieces, one that I did before I had my tablet. The first picture was almost three years ago (I've had my tablet for just over 2). Sadly, I no longer have the old version lying around for formal comparisons. There are many differences between the two (in drawing off the memory of the old one), the most probably being that the horse was of completely different stock, and was standing in the middle of a lake with little background to be seen. This horse also has it's mane and tail in the rainbow, while in the first version the entire horse was a rainbow.

Any critique is both welcomed loved!

DETAILS and CLOSEUPS

TECHNICAL NOTES::
* Layers: Around 12. The horse and hair were drawn on one layer, the rest were for lighting/colorization/background drawing/ect.
* Time: I worked on this for a month in total, due to major art block in the beginning. Overall I think I've spent about 48 total hours of solid work, not including the time taken to search for stock.
* Tools: Adobe Photoshop CS4, Intous4 Small Tablet, default Photoshop brush with varying opacity, hardness, and flow.
