The Fall

So in the short time it took for the blood to clot on the dead and dieing. It was over. Everything we ever knew had changed... they had taken over.

I walk a lonely road one of solitude and misunderstanding, these poor people don't remember what happed those many years ago. But I do. And i will never forget the screams. The cold city so clean and new stands like a prize in the middle of the ruins...of home.
They must never know i think like this.  The seekers must not read me, must not have cause to.
Magic was not supposed to be a part of this world, but they found it hidden in the depths  of time and space... scientists excavated it from the ground from the very earth at our feet. They were bribed with money and goaded by there collegues to find and make the ultimate weapon... and they did. The human brain so complex is set alive by magic, we used  to only a small percent untill they found it. The cure to all ailments. The answer to every question. The greatest weapon ever found on earth and they found it. The Dominis... the scientists. The saviours. The destroyers.
Selfishness and greed overrun them, they were corrupted with the power that the magic gave them and darkness fell.
In just a few weeks they destroyed the earth harvesting the natural resources to fuel there magic... the trees first... then the oil and coal and minerals and last the animals. no mater how strong a resistance the world put up against the dominis no-one won, survivors of the onslaught were herded like sheep towards the city to be unknowingly enslaved by the dominis, to never know anything again.
but there are still some out there... rebels who fight for the right to be free again, who work with nature to bring down the rein of the dominis.
That's where i come in.
