~Edward looked sharply up at Amy, his golden gaze scrutinizing and skeptical. Her black hair was pulled back in a short, tight ponytail, her bangs spiky and wild, and two strands of the blue-tinted ebony hair hung down to frame her tanned, stoic features. Her crystal, blue eyes were sharp, calculating—intelligent. The woman's clothing was nothing out if the ordinary for an Amestrian, but the eldest Elric boy noticed bandages around both of her hands.
~Did she injure her hands in the Ishvalan War? he wondered. He saw another thing...
~Amy Watters was freakishly tall for a woman.
~Edward scowled and muttered gruffily, "...How's the weather up there?"
~Amy heard his remark and pursed her lips in annoyance. However, her eyebrow twitched, and she smirked slyly. "It's fine, thanks for asking," she replied, waltzing over to him. "But, tell me this..." Amy's grin widened considerably. She rested her right elbow on the blonde teenager's head and laughed out, "How's the weather down there, Short stuff?!"
