I think so. I'm writing a fan fiction and encounter this problem a lot. And later it's even worse, because they're not even on the monorail, they have to have people carry them. But unlike fan artists I can't just make them human. Later in the story, this problem is resolved, but before that point...ugh, I could tear my hair out, trying to carry out the scenes in a realistic but scenically dynamic way.
