You felt yourself grow tired. Kanaya had asked you to model for a Valentines Day suit that Dirk wanted. Why? Neither of you had any fuckin idea. You were thankful that Kanaya was a skilled seamstress, otherwise you would have been whining about being stabbed by an unexperienced troll with pins.
The only downside was that Kanaya could dwell in the sun, making it the most convieniant time for you to arrive at her hive. You were growing uncomferatble so close to the sunlight. Kanaya, being the caring and motherly troll she is, understood this completely, and reflected the light away with a white piece of cloth, but it still made you rather irritable.
"So...do you know why Stider needed this thing?" You asked, keeping you shoulders broadened for her as she adjusted the sleeves.
Kanaya looked up at you. You were fairly tall for being only 6 sweeps, even for a male Alternian. Kanaya had often complimented you on how you kept yourself so well dressed compared to others such as Eridan or Gamzee. She had even hesitated making you abandon your fur trimmed black coat and jeans before dressing you up in this outfit of reds and whites. Because, according to Dirk and Dave, Striders were too cool to were pink for anything other than purely ironic purposes.
She gave you a gentle smile before pulling at the thread.
"I assume it's to have the upperhand with Dave, though he may have been leaving subtle hints that could be pointing towards the sober side of Miss Roxy," Kanaya said. You snicker in amusement. Dirk Strider is never going to hear the end of this from you.
You feel a small prick at your side, and you give a small yelp, looking at Kanaya in surprise. Usually the Virgo was so precise and careful that she only very rarely made mistakes. You looked closely at the jade bloods face.
"Are you alright Kanaya?" You asked, finding no problems that could be shown on her face.She shook her head in embaressment before continuing her work. You scowled at her sudden stubborness. She stayed silent while she finished up the suit. You wait until she snips the thread before taking the scissors and setting them on a table and taking her gently by her chin.
"That was off character Maryam, very off character," You stated slowly.
"I do not quite understand what you mean _____," Kanaya replied, keeping her cool. You spotted her reaching for her tube of lipstick just in case. You wern't a fool. You were very disapointed that Kanaya would try to hide something so obvious from you. It was clear that she was still rather disraught from that little Vriska incident.
You neared her face, your nose barely brushing the tip of hers. Her face flushed a deep jade. You narrowed you eyes and gave her a small smile.
"You don't have anyone for Valentines Day do you Kanaya?" You voice was barely a breathe. You were teasing her, and she was barely moving.
She shook her head, no.
"I think I can fix that, if you let me?"
Kanaya looked as if she were going to have a mental breakdown, debating in her mind whether or not she should risk the heartbreak or not.
Not like you would give her the chance to reject you. You locked lips with her, taking advantage of her little gasp and taking her mouth as your territory.
She did not protest, but kissed back nervously. You seperated from eachother, jade tinted saliva mingling with you own (blood color) hue.
"Is that a yes?"
"We shall see,"Kanaya whispered, blushing as she dove in for another sweet kiss.
It seems as if Dirk wasn't going to get his suit until later...

EXTENDED ENDING

Kanaya snoozed in your arms in her recuperacoon, looking as serene as ever. You sighed contently, stroking her short locks. You almost let yourself slip into your own dream like state when you noticed a little flash of crulean from the window.
Vriska peered over the sill, a surprise look on her face.
She glared over at you and you stuck your toungue at her, smirking as you let the slime give your unruly nightmares pleasent hints of jade.
