I hope you take this as a compliment cuz I surely mean it as one: I usually don't really go for this sort of art but you've done something here with her pose/expression that makes this pic especially interesting. I just haven't seen that normally in children's portraits. I mean, you could have just sat her down and painted a boring portrait but you obviously put some thought into not only painting a lovely portrait of your precious daughter but creating a painting that feels as if there's a story behind it and a definite mood. It seems as if you've captured a real moment as opposed to just a pretty portrait. And need I say it's painted with technique I could never dream of matching? What a wonderful heirloom, too, for your daughter and family. Ok, I'll shut up now. Anyway, awesome job!
