Jello everyone! Hope you’ve all gotten comfortable with the reboot~
Since it’s been about 5 months since the last big Neu House announcements, we’ve decided to post an update to it and share more info about future plans for The Neu House! (along with some reminders)

[Prologue]

We've all heard the stories. Cursed objects. Items that either bring bad luck, or leave a trail of death and destruction in its bearers wake. It seems almost laughable to think that such artifacts are even exist, let alone warrant an entire report dedicated to it. But as I was typing out this out, the thoughts that came to my mind from the previous night were starting to become more evident. From the most indomitable of shadow beasts to the smallest of objects, the forces of darkness can take any form, and are not to be underestimated. More so now as a result of the Omega Violet incident.

On [DATE REDACTED] Luna Loud, third oldest daughter of the Loud family, was possessed by the powers of object UNDB-517. As mentioned in my previous report, the Crown of Vengeance's history and notoriety has led to it becoming somewhat of a legend. A simple historical relic to the uninformed. But aside from the manuscripts from which it is described, its true powers were never fully witnessed firsthand until now. We now know that its powers are very real, and very dangerous. Not only is it capable of altering the mind and perception of the wearer, but it can alter the host's body to best suit it nefarious will.

[Omega Violet Incident]

“Sir, incoming transmission from Command HQ." announced a voice from the aircraft's intercoms.

Nicolia Kansa perked up from her seat upon hearing it. I activated the tablet from my coat and replied to the transmission.

“This is Joshua here."

“Agent Faithlight, this is Field Marshal Garant. A mobile sensor array just detected an electromagnetic burst from Royal Woods, Michigan. I'm assigning the investigation to you."

“A shadow beast?" Nicolia inquired, still slightly lethargic from the long flight.

"No confirmation, but the energy reading is small. Too small in fact. It's unlike anything we have recorded at this point. If it is indeed a shadow beast, it could very well be one we have not encountered before.

Nicolia and I looked at each other with unease. Facing a completely new shadow beast presents itself with its own unique set of problems. While a fissure reading this small could be generated from a shadow beast fissure, more often than not such irregular electromagnetic readings are the result of a portal opening in our world. More specifically: Magilily's portals.

“Surely we can get another team to handle something as minor as this!" Nicolia argued.

“Unfortunately the two of you are the closest operatives we have in the region. I understand that you are both tired from your recent mission in Norway, but we need you to find out exactly what we are dealing with. Even though ERIS has deemed its current threat rating at 'D', I want both of you to exercise extreme caution."

"Roger that, Sir.” I complied before heading to the cockpit of the Epsilon. “Pilot, change of course. We're heading to Michigan!"

"Urgh, just when I thought I could finally bunk down and have a nice hot shower...” complained Nicolia, unamused by the sudden change of orders.

"Chicago will always be there. Innocent lives may not." I replied stressing on the importance of the mission. “But I swear if this is Magilily's doing, I'm going to use her head as my personal mop!"

It didn't take long for us to reach the epicenter of the energy reading which was originating from the most unlikely of places: the Royal Woods High School. As our gunship started to make its descent, we could see the school's gym was on fire. A large gaping hole marred the top of the structure from which smoke bellowed through. Across the compound students in formal attire could be seen fleeing the vicinity.

Upon landing on the school's football field, we made our way to the burning building; navigating past crowds of youth in a state of panic. It was inside the gym, that we realized the true state of the situation. Aside from the crumbing ceiling, multiple areas of the building such as the stage and decor were covered in, strangely enough, in livid purple flames. It appears like some kind of event or school prom was being held there before things started going down the drain.

Standing at the center of the building was Lori Loud, the oldest sister of the Loud family, who was witnessing an intense battle of spells unfold before her eyes. Overhead I could see Magilily Neu dueling against some kind of winged humanoid. The creature was hurling fireballs at her while she in turn was deflecting them with some kind of shield spell. As she continued to do so, one of the fireballs ricocheted and blew up a portion of the ceiling. A large section of metal roofing plummeted down towards Lori. Nicolia's instincts kicked in and she quickly dashed forward with her sword drawn. With extreme speed and precision, she jumped forward and cleaved the falling roof segment in two before it could land on her.

"You alright, Lori? What the heck is going on here?!” I demanded helping her back up to her feet. As far as I could tell, this was certainly not a shadow beast incursion of any kind.

“Agent Faithlight! It's Luna! She's...!" the horror-struck blonde stuttered.

"Wait... that's Luna?!” | exclaimed, completely appalled by what I was seeing. The young girl who should be Luna Loud, looked nothing like her spunky, rocker-girl self. While her hair was noticeably messier, what stood out the most was her pale lilac skin, large black wings, and pitch black eyes illuminated by her scarlet pupils. Draped in a black dress with a giant revealing cut down the middle, she had on her head what appeared to be an equally black crown adorned with a glowing red jewel which matched the color of her eyes. The most terrifying feature was were her limbs which have been visibly mutated into a large black mass ending with razor sharp claws.

This wasn't the most freakish thing I had ever seen though. Ever since Lincoln Loud, the middle child of the family, started getting himself involved with the Neu's, he and his sister have somehow become a magnet for all kinds of weird shit. Shadow beast are one thing, but this was a whole different situation. The insidious being was eventually able to overwhelm Magilily and blasted her with a well-placed fireball, sending her crashing through an already decimated buffet line.

“Nicole, I need you to evacuate the civilians. I'm going to go help Magilily.”

It was clear that she was uncomfortable with the idea of helping our nemesis. But given the situation, it seemed like we didn't have much of a choice. Nicolia silently nod before heading over to a small crowd of people who were huddled up in a corner. In the meantime I rushed over to aid Magilily who was surprised by my sudden appearance.

“Agent man?! What are you doing here?"

“Cleaning up your mess as always!" I replied sarcastically, while helping her up.

"Oh that's right. Whenever things go wrong in this town, blame the magical girl!"

"Because clearly you are the only person who can cause such madness!"

“Look, for once this ISN'T my fault! And for the record I'm here to stop her as well!"

"Yeah, and doing a pretty good job at that." I replied sarcastically.

"Well you're not exactly being helpful for a Deus-Ex Machina, you know." She argued.

"Shut it, short stack! Do you have some kind of plan to stop her?" I asked urgently as Luna's terrifying formed loomed closer towards us.

"Well...”

"You don't have a plan do you?...” I slapped my forehead in frustration knowing full well that with Magilily, you can never expect her to plan more than a few steps ahead.

"Oh relax, how hard could it be to remove a silly crown.”

"What crown? What are you talking about?"

“That crown Luna is wearing is some kind of cursed object! It's the reason she's become like this!" Magilily explained in a-manner-of-fact tone. “And according to Sony, the only way we can turn her back is to remove it from her head!"

The ones thing that never fails to baffle me is how relics like these even came to be. Unlike extradimensional beings and the likes, such objects are few and far in-between. While what little is known about them is shrouded in myth and skepticism, usually the effects of such artifacts are extremely terrifying. If that crown is responsible for turning her into this state, then it would somehow explain the energy reading earlier. But judging by how she was faring against a super powered Luna, I had a feeling getting that thing off her was going to be easier said than done.

"My, my. What do we have here? More guests to this party?" Luna spoke with deep but clearly feminine voice. I watched as she slowly descended with her crimson gaze locked onto me. “Well aren't you looking mighty delicious. I might just make you my personal slave!"

Hearing her say that made my skin crawl. While the voice sounded almost like Luna's, the mannerism it conveyed in was nothing like her. I had dealt with a great deal of mythical and magical entities during my time. But this was beyond anything I had ever encountered. I hastily activated the tablet in my coat to contact headquarters.

"This is Agent Faithlight, threat identified - supernatural manifestation. Requesting reinforcement load-out, delta-echo-sierra-14!"

"Affirmative, Agent Faithlight. Reinforcements preparing for deployment. Threat rating has been upgraded to 'B'." A female voice over the comms replied.

“It will do you no good! Soon this realm will be my personal playground...” The being playfully mocked. “...and all of you will burn!"

"Sorry Looney, but I like Royal Woods the way it is!" Magilily shouted in obstinance despite the fact that she was still recovering from the last attack.

"Stop it Luna! This isn't like you!” Lori begged as she ran up to her.

"The Luna you know is long gone! .... am... LUCIDA!” She boomed stretching out her large bat-like wings. Dark clouds started to manifest overhead while the brilliant violet flames engulfing the gym started to surge at a rapid pace. Across the room screams could be heard from a multitude of students who were trapped by debris caused from the devastation. Time was of the essence as the raging inferno was inciting more distress amongst them.

"You should have finished me off when you had the chance, goddess!" Exclaimed Lucida smugly as a luminescent violet ball of fire started to form in her claw. However before she could throw it as, another fiery projectile smashed right into Lucida's face, causing her to momentarily lose focus.

"Hey ugly, did you forget about me?" Nicolia stepped forward, her gauntlet emitting a bright orange glow. As she raised her fist, the Quantum on her left hand continued to absorb the flames from environment around her. “You're not the only one who knows how to play with fire."

Lucida snarled with excitement at the sight of a worthy opponent. "Oh, such power. Such rage. What a pity we did not meet sooner. You would have made a most excellent host."

“I don't think so. Purple isn't my color!” Nicolia sneered before a jet of orange flames erupted from her hand towards Lucida.

“Keep her busy, Angry Girl! I'll go for the crown!" Magilily shouted before disappearing into one of her short range portals.

“For the last time, It's Nicolia, you little twerp!”

While Lucida continued to block the inferno with her own powers, Magilily reappeared behind her from the exit portal. However her attempts to grab the crown from on top of her head were foiled by Lucida's lightning fast reflexes. While this was all going down, bits and pieces of the building was starting to come apart. I grabbed Lori who was still rooted to the spot in terror.

"Listen up Lori, there are still people trapped in this place! We're going to help get them out of here! You with me?"

“A-Alright!" Lori replied, snapping back to reality.

"Grab that fire extinguishers and follow me!" I pointed at the red cases along the walls of the building.

Lori grabbed a canister and together we made our way to the right side of the building where a small number of students were trapped behind tables smothered by heaps of smoking roof tiles. Lori snuffed out the fires while I started to clear a path for the students. While all this was taking place, the battle between Lucida, Magilily and Nicolia was raging on in the background. Suffice to say, we were doing way better than they were. Lucida proved to be a formidable adversary as the crown's power heightening her senses, allowing her to predict when Magilily was about to get a jump on her. I had to get back into the fight as soon as I can. Slowly but surely we managed to shift most of the rubble away, freeing the students who were pinned down. One by one they quickly made their way to the emergency exit.

"You better make a move as well. I'm not sure how long we can keep up this fight."

“That is literally out of the question! I'm not leaving without Luna!" Lori argued.

"That's an order, not a request." I replied before tugging the girl towards the door by her arm.

"Let me go!" Lori demanded as she tried to wrest free from my grip. All this time she continuously eyed the ongoing battle.

"Wait a minute, is that Sam?” She suddenly asked.

I turned around and saw one of the students we rescued earlier making a break for the stage. The individual in question was Sam Sharp, a close friend of Luna. She was blonde with a blue skunk stripe across her hair. The prom dress she wore was slightly seared from the fire earlier, but it did not slow her down in the least.

“Hey, get back here! It's too dangerous!" I yelled after her. Ignoring my warning she continued to run towards the demoness until she was under her terrifying visage.

Now would be a good time for those reinforcements. I told myself as I pursued her. The situation was starting to become so dire it made me wish that the other Neu sisters were here to help. Now that I think about it, why aren't they here? With every minute, Lucida's powers grew to the point where she could easily handle the duo without any trouble. Just as Magilily tried to pull the same portal trick again, Lucida caught her by the arm and threw her at Nicolia who was unable to dodge in time. The collision sent the two of them sprawling on the floor in agony as she continued to gloat.

"Oh, what a shame. And here I thought this was going to be more of a challenge.”

“Luna?! Is that you?" cried the teary eyed girl, horrified by what she was witnessing.

“How cute. Have you come to grovel to your new leader?"

"Don't you recognize me? It's me, Sam!"

"I don't think she can't hear you... The crown she's wearing, its controlling her!" replied Magilly as she forced herself to stand once more despite her injuries.

"You mean all this time she was...?" Sam asked, her eyes wide with fear and anguish.

"Yeah... And the longer it stays on her the more permanent its effects will be!"

"No, I won't let that happen!" Sam responded with determination in her heart. “Let her go you demon!"

“Demon? How rude. I rather refer to myself as a superior being!” Lucida taunted. “Besides, you're too late my dear! Her body and its entirety belongs to me!”

"I don't believe that!" Sam shouted back in defiance. "You are stronger than this Luna! You have to fight it!"

A bruised Nicolia grabbed Sam's arm and tried to pull her away. "You're wasting your breath! That l-know-you-are-in-there crap doesn't work!"

"You don't know that!" Sam shrieked, desperately freeing herself Nicolia's grip. “Please Luna... I believe in you!"

"It's too late for that! Very soon this world will become my dominion.” The demoness continued to laugh in contempt as the flames around her danced with absolute ferocity. “So make your peace while you still can!"

“I intend to do just that!" Shouted Sam as she walked up to her bravely. “I shouldn't have pushed you aside and pretended like our problems would just disappear. We both made a commitment to this relationship. What kind of partner would I be to turn my back on you now?"

The four of us were flabbergasted as Sam fell to her knees despite the imminent danger surrounding her.

"I'm sorry, Luna..." the girl wept as tears rolled down her sides. In that moment of bleakness it felt like something had gotten through to Luna.

“Sam, ..." A voice reminiscent of Luna's uttered briefly from it. But just as quickly, the demon's cry overtook hers.

No, you weakling! I will not let you ruin my return!

"You are not weak, Luna!" Shouted Magilily with a fervor I had never seen. “I know you still care about Sam!"

"She's right! I've seen the two of you together. It's like you were literally made for each other!" Lori joined in as well. “It doesn't have to end this way!"

"Erm. Yeah, what she said!" Nicolia exclaimed, attempting to contribute.

"Fight it, Luna!" Sam echoed after them.

Lucida clutched her head in agony as the voices of her friends and family chanted through her. I wasn't sure if their words of encouragement were going to break her spell, but in any case it was buying us time which I needed to think up of a plan before UNITE escalates things further.

As I surveyed the scene, I noticed a series of large curtains above Lucida which were normally used to conceal the stage during a performance. An idea sprang into my mind: if I could somehow drop those curtains onto her, it could give Magilily the opening she needs to take her out. As the girls continued to divert her attention, I nudged Magilily; gesturing her towards the curtains before carefully making my way to the back stage. Her face beamed with confidence as she put together what I was planning. I just she was ready to act on it when the times comes.

At the backstage I was greeted by a network of ropes and pulleys each with its own functions and purpose. | carefully traced the ones which were linked to the curtains directly over Lucida. From where I was standing, I could clearly see that Lucida was still drawn in by Sam's words. Tears flowed from her eyes as she attempted to wrestle back control of her mind. With every moment the division between her humanity and the demon within was tearing away at her sanity.

"No... there's no point in fighting it!" the voice within her murmured out loud as Lucida clutched herself in a vulnerable position.

"Please Luna!" shouted Sam ardently.

"I'm not strong enough..." Luna's anguished voice struggled as she held on to what remaining sanity she had left.

"You must fight back!"

"She is not strong enough! NONE OF YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH!” Lucida screeched in a thunderous voice. With a single wave of her hand she lifted everyone into the air once more; strangling them with a telekinetic force.

We weren't going to get another chance at this. I tugged hard on the control lever which released the ropes holding the curtains in place. The entire mass of fabric landed on top of Lucida, blinding her and freeing those who were caught by her power. Realizing that this was the opening she was waiting for, Magilily turned to Nicolia who was still regaining her breath from that last attack

"Yo, Angry Girl! Throw me!!!”

Seeing what was going on, Nicolia was more than happy to oblige. Grabbing Magilily by the straps of her blue robes, she positioning her legs in a secure stance and flung her like a baseball. Magilily hurtled at breakneck speed towards Lucida just as she tore free from the curtains entrapping her.

"INSOLENT PEST!” Lucida yelled and lobbing a fireball at the oncoming jester. But the Magilily was prepared this time round. Casting a portal directly in front of her, the fireball harmlessly diffused through the front of the portal while she entered through its back. Lucida was astonished by her counter and did not realize the other end of her portal had emerged right above her.

"HOT N' READY HAM-MER!!!" Magilily cried as she materialized a large flaming ham hammer from seemingly out of nowhere. Descended onto her with speed and precision, she smacked Lucida straight in the head with the fiery end of her edible bludgeon. The force of the strike knocked the crown square off her head, severing its demonic link with her. Nicolia dived forward at that instant and caught her in the air before she hit the ground. As she held her in her arms, black smoke started emanating from Luna's body as her physique gradually returned to that of a normal human being. The rest of us soon caught up to Nicolia who was cradling an unconscious Luna.

"Hey kid, you alright?" Nicolia asked as she prodded her cheek a few times to get a reaction. Luna twitched in response and slowly raised her eyelids, much to the relief of those around her.

"W-wha... What happened?..." She muttered in a dazed state.

"LUNA!!!” Sam shouted as she embraced Luna faster than Nicolia could get out of the way. “I'm so glad you are okay!"
Sam cried as she continued to hug her tightly. Tears streamed down her cheek onto Luna who reciprocated the action.

"Whoa, easy there dude!” Luna blushed still shaken by what had happened. Before she could react, Lori joined in on the embrace as well making it extremely hard for her to breathe.

"Uh, I hate to break the tender moment, but we are still in a burning building." I reminded them as parts of the walls started to fall around us.

Nicolia instantly picked up Luna and leapt off the stage. “Alright ladies, let's get a move on! Joshua watch our six!"

In a single file we hastily made our way to the emergency exit on the right as the stage collapsed upon itself. Outside the campus, the roads and fields were littered with displaced students, most of which were on their phone either contacting
loved ones or documenting the events that just happened.

Nicolia set Luna on the ground a distance from the blaze. Immediately Lori swooped in to check on her.

“Are you okay, Luna?! No broken bones? No missing body parts?" Lori inquired, all the while patting Luna all over to ensure she was still in one piece.

"More importantly, do you have any desires for world domination or the blood of your enemies?" I asked. Lori frowned and instantly pushed me aside.

"I feel fine... I think. My head feels kinda sore though.” Luna winced while rubbing her scalp.

"Yeah, that's usually the most common side effect of that spell.” chuckled Maglily as she twirled her hammer by its end. Ignoring Magilily's comment, Lori placed her hands on Luna's shoulders.

"It's good to have you back, Lunes.”
Luna gave a weak smile and turned to Sam after noticing the absolute carnage that had just taken place. “Did I do all this?..."

“It's not your fault Luna. That... thing did this to you." Sam comforted.

"No, it was. I shouldn't have worn it... Even if it was just to get your attention.”

“If that's the case, then I'm just as much at fault. I shouldn't have just ignored you as well." A teary eyed Sam confessed.

“I'm sorry."

The two hugged each other with a sense of reconciliation. The rest of us looked on with a sense of comfort knowing that the worse was finally over.

“Heh, another happy ending." A satisfied Nicolia smirked as she sheathed her sword. I couldn't help but notice something out of character with her.

"Aww. I didn't know you felt compassion."I teased while grinning at her. Nicolia's face immediately turned red as she quickly tried to cover her tracks.

"W-what are you talking about?"

"Ha ha, come on, you know a tender moment when you see it."

"I'll show you a tender moment!" Nicolia snapped as she grabbed my tie while raising her armored fist at me. Luckily she was quick to be distracted by a white substance which started falling from the sky. The other girls in the building looked up in confusion."

Is that...snow?" asked Sam.

"At this time of the year?" A confused Luna interjected.

"Ack! Definitely not!” Magilily affirmed, instantly regretting sticking her tongue out to catch a flake.

A distinct thunder of an aircraft engine started to grow louder as the massive frame of a UNTC-12 Pegasus aerial hauler soon came into view with an equally large firefighting pod attached to its underbelly. The aircraft hovered overhead and continued disperse firefighting foam across the burning building. The searchlight mounted on its ventral gun turret shone over us as I waved to the pilot, signaling for an all clear.

Luna and Sam were quite amused by the sudden snowfall.

"Not how I envisioned the spending the rest of the prom night.” Luna giggled whilst holding on to Sam's hand.

"Given the way things went, I wouldn't have had it any other way." Sam replied while playfully headbutting her. Luna blushed and reciprocated all the while tears of joy swelled in their eyes.

“Best night ever?"

“Best night ever."

The two continued to cherish the moment as emergency vehicles started pouring into the scene with their sirens blaring along with several Bullfrog armored personal carriers. UN troopers began to cordon off the area and providing medical assistance to those who needed it.

[Aftermath]

After the incident Luna was admitted to the Royal Woods General Hospital, where under our jurisdiction, she was place in intensive care. A tad excessive I will admit, but we had to be absolutely sure that there were no complications resulting from the crown's influence. After a week of observation, she was deemed safe to be re-integrated back into society.

On the day Luna was due to be discharged, I had the chance to interview her. Walking into her ward I met Sam was at helping her to pack her belongings. I managed to get a few moments with Luna and ask about her motive for dawning the Crown of Vengeance in the first place.

Initially she was adamant to tell me about what happened, but thankfully Sam was there to be a pillar of support for her. As she placed her arm around her shoulder the truth about the incident came to light. At the time when their relationship was less than official, there were some individuals from their school who openly criticized them for it. As time went on the constant harassment started to draw a wedge between the two of them. Sam eventually decided to distance herself from Luna to prevent her from receiving any further humiliation. This led up to the night of the prom when was unable to muster the courage to ask her out. As the evening came around, Luna was preparing to head out when she inexplicably heard a voice call out to her.

Being an artifact of evil, I hypothesize that the crown was able to sense the rising insecurity within her, and sought the chance to latch itself onto a host. What seemed like awe and beauty to Luna was actually the crown working its sinister influence over her. Such was its power that it was able to supernaturally guide her to where it was hidden in Lucy's room. According to Luna, an eldritch voice spoke of granting her whatever her heart desired. Luna asked if it could help her mend her relationship with Sam, to which it replied that it had the power to resolve any conflict the wearer had; enticing her to become one with it.

The surge of physical and mental might she felt when she from the crown was exhilarating. According to her It was a sensation that felt like she could overcome any obstacle in her path. But in the end, no matter how noble the intentions are, such power only serves one purposes: to corrupt. Luna believed she was the one in control of its power, but in reality it was the other way round. With time the crown started working its twisted magic through her as the effects stated in entry RS-517 started to manifest.

Her original intention was to find a quiet time to speak to Sam, with the hopes that they would be able to talk things out and resolve the issue. As she continued to tell me more I realized it sounded more like a confrontation than a heartfelt talk. I couldn't blame her though, after all with her thoughts at that point was slowly being warped by the crown. Her mind was certainly not her own, and the words she choose only widened the rift between them.

As I pressed on for more details, Sam continued the story after she noticed that Luna was starting to look downtrodden. As she held her hand, she told me Luna's words during that night deeply hurt her and made her storm away. Every attempt Luna made to reconcile that evening was met with hostilities. Her sadness soon paved way to anger. As her rationality started to dwindle, that anger soon became spite. Luna was now starting to act out of character; something which even Lori observed throughout the event. She was going about acting extremely loud and crass while seductively flirting with some of the other boys at the prom in the hopes of inciting a reaction out of her.

Sam on the other hand was certainly not pleased. Long story short, the final argument they had ended with the two breaking up in the most unpleasant of ways. It was the final straw for Luna's mental psyche and it was from that despair that the Crown of Vengeance was finally able to take control and change her into the form we witnessed that day. After that, the rest was history.

As we made our way to the lobby, I was greeted by Lynn Loud senior who had just finished filing the necessary paperwork for her daughter. I bid farewell to Luna as she boarded the family van in the cheering company of her sisters and younger brother, but not before she and Sam shared a kiss before parting ways for the night. To think that all this trouble could have been easily avoided if they had been more open of their emotions instead of being afraid of what others thought of them. In any case, what matters is that the two have reconciled. In fact I daresay they have come out of this incident much stronger.

I for one, was grateful that things turned out better than expected. Despite the fact that the entire gym was almost burnt to the ground, not a single casualty was reported that night. Witnesses weren't an issue since nobody, aside from Sam, could recognize Luna in her demonic form. I was surprised that nobody saw her transform as well, but I guess it can be chalked down to general party chaos. Stories about a winged monster burning down the place were rampant after that, but nothing a bit of creative cover-up cant solve.

As for the Crown of Vengeance, it currently remains in the possession of the Neu family. In the advent of the incident, I requested that the crown be placed in UNITE custody. However Magilily, being Magilily, flat out refused; stating that such power would only do more harm in our hands. Even though I argued my case, the she was not about to relinquish crown and mentioned that it should be kept with someone with relevant knowledge on such objects (possibly Sony Neu). Given the circumstances it would have been foolish to pick a fight with her then and there. I reluctantly agreed, on the condition that if another incident were to occur, UNITE will take full custody of the crown - by force if necessary.

To date, no further incidents relating to the crown have occurred. However knowing her, I assume it's only a matter of time before something happens. And with the kind of powers they possess, we may not be prepared to deal with it next time round.

On that note, while the Neu's may have the Crown of Vengeance, we possess the puzzle box that it was stored in. After Luna was discharged, Lucy surrendered the box to me citing that she did not want anything to do with it, or its relation to the crown. Initially I didn't think too much about my 'consolation prize'. But upon further research, the inscription lining both the interior and exterior of the box tells a grisly tale of Queen Astara and her fate. What intrigues me is that it possibly has clues leading to her final resting place.

I have made arrangements for an archaeological team to be sent to England. If the Hellfire Queen is more than just a myth, than this would be a breakthrough in our quest to understand and defeat the supernatural.

NOTES: Individual demonstrated both pyrokinesis and telekinetic powers. However separation of the crown from the victim's head has caused the daemonic form (sans powers) to subside. No further escalation required.

Proof that I can't write romance to save my life. I'll admit, this isn't my best bit of writing to date. Been experimenting with a hybrid writing style which combines the traditional report format from the earlier entries, and the story telling of the later ones. Feel free to find holes in this one because I guarantee you will find more than in a moth-laden sweater. :V
And dont worry, the next entry will be back to something more traditional.

Anyway, here's Lucida in all her demon-y glory! A character that was conceptualized by and brought to life by known other than himself, the design which you can find here . And yes, I'm coining the term for her Demon form as Lucida (because saying Demon Luna is too much of a mouthful) so if you ever hear it elsewhere, you know where it came from! And as previously mentioned I'm awfully late to the Lucida bandwagon. Writing a story involving a rather unorthdox design for a Loud character is not particularly easy, but It was worth experimenting with my boundaries nonetheless. If this was an actual episode from the series, it would obviously take place from Luna, or Magilily's point of view.

The design for Sam's dress is based on this artwork done by so credit goes to him for it. The only thing I changed was the lack of a ponytail on Sam.

Eh... did I forget anything else? No? Well then, two more weeks till UNITE month ends. Lets see what else I can churn out till then!

Jello everyone! Hope you’ve all gotten comfortable with the reboot~
Since it’s been about 5 months since the last big Neu House announcements, we’ve decided to post an update to it and share more info about future plans for The Neu House! (along with some reminders)

[Prologue]

We've all heard the stories. Cursed objects. Items that either bring bad luck, or leave a trail of death and destruction in its bearers wake. It seems almost laughable to think that such artifacts are even exist, let alone warrant an entire report dedicated to it. But as I was typing out this out, the thoughts that came to my mind from the previous night were starting to become more evident. From the most indomitable of shadow beasts to the smallest of objects, the forces of darkness can take any form, and are not to be underestimated. More so now as a result of the Omega Violet incident.

On [DATE REDACTED] Luna Loud, third oldest daughter of the Loud family, was possessed by the powers of object UNDB-517. As mentioned in my previous report, the Crown of Vengeance's history and notoriety has led to it becoming somewhat of a legend. A simple historical relic to the uninformed. But aside from the manuscripts from which it is described, its true powers were never fully witnessed firsthand until now. We now know that its powers are very real, and very dangerous. Not only is it capable of altering the mind and perception of the wearer, but it can alter the host's body to best suit it nefarious will.

[Omega Violet Incident]

“Sir, incoming transmission from Command HQ." announced a voice from the aircraft's intercoms.

Nicolia Kansa perked up from her seat upon hearing it. I activated the tablet from my coat and replied to the transmission.

“This is Joshua here."

“Agent Faithlight, this is Field Marshal Garant. A mobile sensor array just detected an electromagnetic burst from Royal Woods, Michigan. I'm assigning the investigation to you."

“A shadow beast?" Nicolia inquired, still slightly lethargic from the long flight.

"No confirmation, but the energy reading is small. Too small in fact. It's unlike anything we have recorded at this point. If it is indeed a shadow beast, it could very well be one we have not encountered before.

Nicolia and I looked at each other with unease. Facing a completely new shadow beast presents itself with its own unique set of problems. While a fissure reading this small could be generated from a shadow beast fissure, more often than not such irregular electromagnetic readings are the result of a portal opening in our world. More specifically: Magilily's portals.

“Surely we can get another team to handle something as minor as this!" Nicolia argued.

“Unfortunately the two of you are the closest operatives we have in the region. I understand that you are both tired from your recent mission in Norway, but we need you to find out exactly what we are dealing with. Even though ERIS has deemed its current threat rating at 'D', I want both of you to exercise extreme caution."

"Roger that, Sir.” I complied before heading to the cockpit of the Epsilon. “Pilot, change of course. We're heading to Michigan!"

"Urgh, just when I thought I could finally bunk down and have a nice hot shower...” complained Nicolia, unamused by the sudden change of orders.

"Chicago will always be there. Innocent lives may not." I replied stressing on the importance of the mission. “But I swear if this is Magilily's doing, I'm going to use her head as my personal mop!"

It didn't take long for us to reach the epicenter of the energy reading which was originating from the most unlikely of places: the Royal Woods High School. As our gunship started to make its descent, we could see the school's gym was on fire. A large gaping hole marred the top of the structure from which smoke bellowed through. Across the compound students in formal attire could be seen fleeing the vicinity.

Upon landing on the school's football field, we made our way to the burning building; navigating past crowds of youth in a state of panic. It was inside the gym, that we realized the true state of the situation. Aside from the crumbing ceiling, multiple areas of the building such as the stage and decor were covered in, strangely enough, in livid purple flames. It appears like some kind of event or school prom was being held there before things started going down the drain.

Standing at the center of the building was Lori Loud, the oldest sister of the Loud family, who was witnessing an intense battle of spells unfold before her eyes. Overhead I could see Magilily Neu dueling against some kind of winged humanoid. The creature was hurling fireballs at her while she in turn was deflecting them with some kind of shield spell. As she continued to do so, one of the fireballs ricocheted and blew up a portion of the ceiling. A large section of metal roofing plummeted down towards Lori. Nicolia's instincts kicked in and she quickly dashed forward with her sword drawn. With extreme speed and precision, she jumped forward and cleaved the falling roof segment in two before it could land on her.

"You alright, Lori? What the heck is going on here?!” I demanded helping her back up to her feet. As far as I could tell, this was certainly not a shadow beast incursion of any kind.

“Agent Faithlight! It's Luna! She's...!" the horror-struck blonde stuttered.

"Wait... that's Luna?!” | exclaimed, completely appalled by what I was seeing. The young girl who should be Luna Loud, looked nothing like her spunky, rocker-girl self. While her hair was noticeably messier, what stood out the most was her pale lilac skin, large black wings, and pitch black eyes illuminated by her scarlet pupils. Draped in a black dress with a giant revealing cut down the middle, she had on her head what appeared to be an equally black crown adorned with a glowing red jewel which matched the color of her eyes. The most terrifying feature was were her limbs which have been visibly mutated into a large black mass ending with razor sharp claws.

This wasn't the most freakish thing I had ever seen though. Ever since Lincoln Loud, the middle child of the family, started getting himself involved with the Neu's, he and his sister have somehow become a magnet for all kinds of weird shit. Shadow beast are one thing, but this was a whole different situation. The insidious being was eventually able to overwhelm Magilily and blasted her with a well-placed fireball, sending her crashing through an already decimated buffet line.

“Nicole, I need you to evacuate the civilians. I'm going to go help Magilily.”

It was clear that she was uncomfortable with the idea of helping our nemesis. But given the situation, it seemed like we didn't have much of a choice. Nicolia silently nod before heading over to a small crowd of people who were huddled up in a corner. In the meantime I rushed over to aid Magilily who was surprised by my sudden appearance.

“Agent man?! What are you doing here?"

“Cleaning up your mess as always!" I replied sarcastically, while helping her up.

"Oh that's right. Whenever things go wrong in this town, blame the magical girl!"

"Because clearly you are the only person who can cause such madness!"

“Look, for once this ISN'T my fault! And for the record I'm here to stop her as well!"

"Yeah, and doing a pretty good job at that." I replied sarcastically.

"Well you're not exactly being helpful for a Deus-Ex Machina, you know." She argued.

"Shut it, short stack! Do you have some kind of plan to stop her?" I asked urgently as Luna's terrifying formed loomed closer towards us.

"Well...”

"You don't have a plan do you?...” I slapped my forehead in frustration knowing full well that with Magilily, you can never expect her to plan more than a few steps ahead.

"Oh relax, how hard could it be to remove a silly crown.”

"What crown? What are you talking about?"

“That crown Luna is wearing is some kind of cursed object! It's the reason she's become like this!" Magilily explained in a-manner-of-fact tone. “And according to Sony, the only way we can turn her back is to remove it from her head!"

The ones thing that never fails to baffle me is how relics like these even came to be. Unlike extradimensional beings and the likes, such objects are few and far in-between. While what little is known about them is shrouded in myth and skepticism, usually the effects of such artifacts are extremely terrifying. If that crown is responsible for turning her into this state, then it would somehow explain the energy reading earlier. But judging by how she was faring against a super powered Luna, I had a feeling getting that thing off her was going to be easier said than done.

"My, my. What do we have here? More guests to this party?" Luna spoke with deep but clearly feminine voice. I watched as she slowly descended with her crimson gaze locked onto me. “Well aren't you looking mighty delicious. I might just make you my personal slave!"

Hearing her say that made my skin crawl. While the voice sounded almost like Luna's, the mannerism it conveyed in was nothing like her. I had dealt with a great deal of mythical and magical entities during my time. But this was beyond anything I had ever encountered. I hastily activated the tablet in my coat to contact headquarters.

"This is Agent Faithlight, threat identified - supernatural manifestation. Requesting reinforcement load-out, delta-echo-sierra-14!"

"Affirmative, Agent Faithlight. Reinforcements preparing for deployment. Threat rating has been upgraded to 'B'." A female voice over the comms replied.

“It will do you no good! Soon this realm will be my personal playground...” The being playfully mocked. “...and all of you will burn!"

"Sorry Looney, but I like Royal Woods the way it is!" Magilily shouted in obstinance despite the fact that she was still recovering from the last attack.

"Stop it Luna! This isn't like you!” Lori begged as she ran up to her.

"The Luna you know is long gone! .... am... LUCIDA!” She boomed stretching out her large bat-like wings. Dark clouds started to manifest overhead while the brilliant violet flames engulfing the gym started to surge at a rapid pace. Across the room screams could be heard from a multitude of students who were trapped by debris caused from the devastation. Time was of the essence as the raging inferno was inciting more distress amongst them.

"You should have finished me off when you had the chance, goddess!" Exclaimed Lucida smugly as a luminescent violet ball of fire started to form in her claw. However before she could throw it as, another fiery projectile smashed right into Lucida's face, causing her to momentarily lose focus.

"Hey ugly, did you forget about me?" Nicolia stepped forward, her gauntlet emitting a bright orange glow. As she raised her fist, the Quantum on her left hand continued to absorb the flames from environment around her. “You're not the only one who knows how to play with fire."

Lucida snarled with excitement at the sight of a worthy opponent. "Oh, such power. Such rage. What a pity we did not meet sooner. You would have made a most excellent host."

“I don't think so. Purple isn't my color!” Nicolia sneered before a jet of orange flames erupted from her hand towards Lucida.

“Keep her busy, Angry Girl! I'll go for the crown!" Magilily shouted before disappearing into one of her short range portals.

“For the last time, It's Nicolia, you little twerp!”

While Lucida continued to block the inferno with her own powers, Magilily reappeared behind her from the exit portal. However her attempts to grab the crown from on top of her head were foiled by Lucida's lightning fast reflexes. While this was all going down, bits and pieces of the building was starting to come apart. I grabbed Lori who was still rooted to the spot in terror.

"Listen up Lori, there are still people trapped in this place! We're going to help get them out of here! You with me?"

“A-Alright!" Lori replied, snapping back to reality.

"Grab that fire extinguishers and follow me!" I pointed at the red cases along the walls of the building.

Lori grabbed a canister and together we made our way to the right side of the building where a small number of students were trapped behind tables smothered by heaps of smoking roof tiles. Lori snuffed out the fires while I started to clear a path for the students. While all this was taking place, the battle between Lucida, Magilily and Nicolia was raging on in the background. Suffice to say, we were doing way better than they were. Lucida proved to be a formidable adversary as the crown's power heightening her senses, allowing her to predict when Magilily was about to get a jump on her. I had to get back into the fight as soon as I can. Slowly but surely we managed to shift most of the rubble away, freeing the students who were pinned down. One by one they quickly made their way to the emergency exit.

"You better make a move as well. I'm not sure how long we can keep up this fight."

“That is literally out of the question! I'm not leaving without Luna!" Lori argued.

"That's an order, not a request." I replied before tugging the girl towards the door by her arm.

"Let me go!" Lori demanded as she tried to wrest free from my grip. All this time she continuously eyed the ongoing battle.

"Wait a minute, is that Sam?” She suddenly asked.

I turned around and saw one of the students we rescued earlier making a break for the stage. The individual in question was Sam Sharp, a close friend of Luna. She was blonde with a blue skunk stripe across her hair. The prom dress she wore was slightly seared from the fire earlier, but it did not slow her down in the least.

“Hey, get back here! It's too dangerous!" I yelled after her. Ignoring my warning she continued to run towards the demoness until she was under her terrifying visage.

Now would be a good time for those reinforcements. I told myself as I pursued her. The situation was starting to become so dire it made me wish that the other Neu sisters were here to help. Now that I think about it, why aren't they here? With every minute, Lucida's powers grew to the point where she could easily handle the duo without any trouble. Just as Magilily tried to pull the same portal trick again, Lucida caught her by the arm and threw her at Nicolia who was unable to dodge in time. The collision sent the two of them sprawling on the floor in agony as she continued to gloat.

"Oh, what a shame. And here I thought this was going to be more of a challenge.”

“Luna?! Is that you?" cried the teary eyed girl, horrified by what she was witnessing.

“How cute. Have you come to grovel to your new leader?"

"Don't you recognize me? It's me, Sam!"

"I don't think she can't hear you... The crown she's wearing, its controlling her!" replied Magilly as she forced herself to stand once more despite her injuries.

"You mean all this time she was...?" Sam asked, her eyes wide with fear and anguish.

"Yeah... And the longer it stays on her the more permanent its effects will be!"

"No, I won't let that happen!" Sam responded with determination in her heart. “Let her go you demon!"

“Demon? How rude. I rather refer to myself as a superior being!” Lucida taunted. “Besides, you're too late my dear! Her body and its entirety belongs to me!”

"I don't believe that!" Sam shouted back in defiance. "You are stronger than this Luna! You have to fight it!"

A bruised Nicolia grabbed Sam's arm and tried to pull her away. "You're wasting your breath! That l-know-you-are-in-there crap doesn't work!"

"You don't know that!" Sam shrieked, desperately freeing herself Nicolia's grip. “Please Luna... I believe in you!"

"It's too late for that! Very soon this world will become my dominion.” The demoness continued to laugh in contempt as the flames around her danced with absolute ferocity. “So make your peace while you still can!"

“I intend to do just that!" Shouted Sam as she walked up to her bravely. “I shouldn't have pushed you aside and pretended like our problems would just disappear. We both made a commitment to this relationship. What kind of partner would I be to turn my back on you now?"

The four of us were flabbergasted as Sam fell to her knees despite the imminent danger surrounding her.

"I'm sorry, Luna..." the girl wept as tears rolled down her sides. In that moment of bleakness it felt like something had gotten through to Luna.

“Sam, ..." A voice reminiscent of Luna's uttered briefly from it. But just as quickly, the demon's cry overtook hers.

No, you weakling! I will not let you ruin my return!

"You are not weak, Luna!" Shouted Magilily with a fervor I had never seen. “I know you still care about Sam!"

"She's right! I've seen the two of you together. It's like you were literally made for each other!" Lori joined in as well. “It doesn't have to end this way!"

"Erm. Yeah, what she said!" Nicolia exclaimed, attempting to contribute.

"Fight it, Luna!" Sam echoed after them.

Lucida clutched her head in agony as the voices of her friends and family chanted through her. I wasn't sure if their words of encouragement were going to break her spell, but in any case it was buying us time which I needed to think up of a plan before UNITE escalates things further.

As I surveyed the scene, I noticed a series of large curtains above Lucida which were normally used to conceal the stage during a performance. An idea sprang into my mind: if I could somehow drop those curtains onto her, it could give Magilily the opening she needs to take her out. As the girls continued to divert her attention, I nudged Magilily; gesturing her towards the curtains before carefully making my way to the back stage. Her face beamed with confidence as she put together what I was planning. I just she was ready to act on it when the times comes.

At the backstage I was greeted by a network of ropes and pulleys each with its own functions and purpose. | carefully traced the ones which were linked to the curtains directly over Lucida. From where I was standing, I could clearly see that Lucida was still drawn in by Sam's words. Tears flowed from her eyes as she attempted to wrestle back control of her mind. With every moment the division between her humanity and the demon within was tearing away at her sanity.

"No... there's no point in fighting it!" the voice within her murmured out loud as Lucida clutched herself in a vulnerable position.

"Please Luna!" shouted Sam ardently.

"I'm not strong enough..." Luna's anguished voice struggled as she held on to what remaining sanity she had left.

"You must fight back!"

"She is not strong enough! NONE OF YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH!” Lucida screeched in a thunderous voice. With a single wave of her hand she lifted everyone into the air once more; strangling them with a telekinetic force.

We weren't going to get another chance at this. I tugged hard on the control lever which released the ropes holding the curtains in place. The entire mass of fabric landed on top of Lucida, blinding her and freeing those who were caught by her power. Realizing that this was the opening she was waiting for, Magilily turned to Nicolia who was still regaining her breath from that last attack

"Yo, Angry Girl! Throw me!!!”

Seeing what was going on, Nicolia was more than happy to oblige. Grabbing Magilily by the straps of her blue robes, she positioning her legs in a secure stance and flung her like a baseball. Magilily hurtled at breakneck speed towards Lucida just as she tore free from the curtains entrapping her.

"INSOLENT PEST!” Lucida yelled and lobbing a fireball at the oncoming jester. But the Magilily was prepared this time round. Casting a portal directly in front of her, the fireball harmlessly diffused through the front of the portal while she entered through its back. Lucida was astonished by her counter and did not realize the other end of her portal had emerged right above her.

"HOT N' READY HAM-MER!!!" Magilily cried as she materialized a large flaming ham hammer from seemingly out of nowhere. Descended onto her with speed and precision, she smacked Lucida straight in the head with the fiery end of her edible bludgeon. The force of the strike knocked the crown square off her head, severing its demonic link with her. Nicolia dived forward at that instant and caught her in the air before she hit the ground. As she held her in her arms, black smoke started emanating from Luna's body as her physique gradually returned to that of a normal human being. The rest of us soon caught up to Nicolia who was cradling an unconscious Luna.

"Hey kid, you alright?" Nicolia asked as she prodded her cheek a few times to get a reaction. Luna twitched in response and slowly raised her eyelids, much to the relief of those around her.

"W-wha... What happened?..." She muttered in a dazed state.

"LUNA!!!” Sam shouted as she embraced Luna faster than Nicolia could get out of the way. “I'm so glad you are okay!"
Sam cried as she continued to hug her tightly. Tears streamed down her cheek onto Luna who reciprocated the action.

"Whoa, easy there dude!” Luna blushed still shaken by what had happened. Before she could react, Lori joined in on the embrace as well making it extremely hard for her to breathe.

"Uh, I hate to break the tender moment, but we are still in a burning building." I reminded them as parts of the walls started to fall around us.

Nicolia instantly picked up Luna and leapt off the stage. “Alright ladies, let's get a move on! Joshua watch our six!"

In a single file we hastily made our way to the emergency exit on the right as the stage collapsed upon itself. Outside the campus, the roads and fields were littered with displaced students, most of which were on their phone either contacting
loved ones or documenting the events that just happened.

Nicolia set Luna on the ground a distance from the blaze. Immediately Lori swooped in to check on her.

“Are you okay, Luna?! No broken bones? No missing body parts?" Lori inquired, all the while patting Luna all over to ensure she was still in one piece.

"More importantly, do you have any desires for world domination or the blood of your enemies?" I asked. Lori frowned and instantly pushed me aside.

"I feel fine... I think. My head feels kinda sore though.” Luna winced while rubbing her scalp.

"Yeah, that's usually the most common side effect of that spell.” chuckled Maglily as she twirled her hammer by its end. Ignoring Magilily's comment, Lori placed her hands on Luna's shoulders.

"It's good to have you back, Lunes.”
Luna gave a weak smile and turned to Sam after noticing the absolute carnage that had just taken place. “Did I do all this?..."

“It's not your fault Luna. That... thing did this to you." Sam comforted.

"No, it was. I shouldn't have worn it... Even if it was just to get your attention.”

“If that's the case, then I'm just as much at fault. I shouldn't have just ignored you as well." A teary eyed Sam confessed.

“I'm sorry."

The two hugged each other with a sense of reconciliation. The rest of us looked on with a sense of comfort knowing that the worse was finally over.

“Heh, another happy ending." A satisfied Nicolia smirked as she sheathed her sword. I couldn't help but notice something out of character with her.

"Aww. I didn't know you felt compassion."I teased while grinning at her. Nicolia's face immediately turned red as she quickly tried to cover her tracks.

"W-what are you talking about?"

"Ha ha, come on, you know a tender moment when you see it."

"I'll show you a tender moment!" Nicolia snapped as she grabbed my tie while raising her armored fist at me. Luckily she was quick to be distracted by a white substance which started falling from the sky. The other girls in the building looked up in confusion."

Is that...snow?" asked Sam.

"At this time of the year?" A confused Luna interjected.

"Ack! Definitely not!” Magilily affirmed, instantly regretting sticking her tongue out to catch a flake.

A distinct thunder of an aircraft engine started to grow louder as the massive frame of a UNTC-12 Pegasus aerial hauler soon came into view with an equally large firefighting pod attached to its underbelly. The aircraft hovered overhead and continued disperse firefighting foam across the burning building. The searchlight mounted on its ventral gun turret shone over us as I waved to the pilot, signaling for an all clear.

Luna and Sam were quite amused by the sudden snowfall.

"Not how I envisioned the spending the rest of the prom night.” Luna giggled whilst holding on to Sam's hand.

"Given the way things went, I wouldn't have had it any other way." Sam replied while playfully headbutting her. Luna blushed and reciprocated all the while tears of joy swelled in their eyes.

“Best night ever?"

“Best night ever."

The two continued to cherish the moment as emergency vehicles started pouring into the scene with their sirens blaring along with several Bullfrog armored personal carriers. UN troopers began to cordon off the area and providing medical assistance to those who needed it.

[Aftermath]

After the incident Luna was admitted to the Royal Woods General Hospital, where under our jurisdiction, she was place in intensive care. A tad excessive I will admit, but we had to be absolutely sure that there were no complications resulting from the crown's influence. After a week of observation, she was deemed safe to be re-integrated back into society.

On the day Luna was due to be discharged, I had the chance to interview her. Walking into her ward I met Sam was at helping her to pack her belongings. I managed to get a few moments with Luna and ask about her motive for dawning the Crown of Vengeance in the first place.

Initially she was adamant to tell me about what happened, but thankfully Sam was there to be a pillar of support for her. As she placed her arm around her shoulder the truth about the incident came to light. At the time when their relationship was less than official, there were some individuals from their school who openly criticized them for it. As time went on the constant harassment started to draw a wedge between the two of them. Sam eventually decided to distance herself from Luna to prevent her from receiving any further humiliation. This led up to the night of the prom when was unable to muster the courage to ask her out. As the evening came around, Luna was preparing to head out when she inexplicably heard a voice call out to her.

Being an artifact of evil, I hypothesize that the crown was able to sense the rising insecurity within her, and sought the chance to latch itself onto a host. What seemed like awe and beauty to Luna was actually the crown working its sinister influence over her. Such was its power that it was able to supernaturally guide her to where it was hidden in Lucy's room. According to Luna, an eldritch voice spoke of granting her whatever her heart desired. Luna asked if it could help her mend her relationship with Sam, to which it replied that it had the power to resolve any conflict the wearer had; enticing her to become one with it.

The surge of physical and mental might she felt when she from the crown was exhilarating. According to her It was a sensation that felt like she could overcome any obstacle in her path. But in the end, no matter how noble the intentions are, such power only serves one purposes: to corrupt. Luna believed she was the one in control of its power, but in reality it was the other way round. With time the crown started working its twisted magic through her as the effects stated in entry RS-517 started to manifest.

Her original intention was to find a quiet time to speak to Sam, with the hopes that they would be able to talk things out and resolve the issue. As she continued to tell me more I realized it sounded more like a confrontation than a heartfelt talk. I couldn't blame her though, after all with her thoughts at that point was slowly being warped by the crown. Her mind was certainly not her own, and the words she choose only widened the rift between them.

As I pressed on for more details, Sam continued the story after she noticed that Luna was starting to look downtrodden. As she held her hand, she told me Luna's words during that night deeply hurt her and made her storm away. Every attempt Luna made to reconcile that evening was met with hostilities. Her sadness soon paved way to anger. As her rationality started to dwindle, that anger soon became spite. Luna was now starting to act out of character; something which even Lori observed throughout the event. She was going about acting extremely loud and crass while seductively flirting with some of the other boys at the prom in the hopes of inciting a reaction out of her.

Sam on the other hand was certainly not pleased. Long story short, the final argument they had ended with the two breaking up in the most unpleasant of ways. It was the final straw for Luna's mental psyche and it was from that despair that the Crown of Vengeance was finally able to take control and change her into the form we witnessed that day. After that, the rest was history.

As we made our way to the lobby, I was greeted by Lynn Loud senior who had just finished filing the necessary paperwork for her daughter. I bid farewell to Luna as she boarded the family van in the cheering company of her sisters and younger brother, but not before she and Sam shared a kiss before parting ways for the night. To think that all this trouble could have been easily avoided if they had been more open of their emotions instead of being afraid of what others thought of them. In any case, what matters is that the two have reconciled. In fact I daresay they have come out of this incident much stronger.

I for one, was grateful that things turned out better than expected. Despite the fact that the entire gym was almost burnt to the ground, not a single casualty was reported that night. Witnesses weren't an issue since nobody, aside from Sam, could recognize Luna in her demonic form. I was surprised that nobody saw her transform as well, but I guess it can be chalked down to general party chaos. Stories about a winged monster burning down the place were rampant after that, but nothing a bit of creative cover-up cant solve.

As for the Crown of Vengeance, it currently remains in the possession of the Neu family. In the advent of the incident, I requested that the crown be placed in UNITE custody. However Magilily, being Magilily, flat out refused; stating that such power would only do more harm in our hands. Even though I argued my case, the she was not about to relinquish crown and mentioned that it should be kept with someone with relevant knowledge on such objects (possibly Sony Neu). Given the circumstances it would have been foolish to pick a fight with her then and there. I reluctantly agreed, on the condition that if another incident were to occur, UNITE will take full custody of the crown - by force if necessary.

To date, no further incidents relating to the crown have occurred. However knowing her, I assume it's only a matter of time before something happens. And with the kind of powers they possess, we may not be prepared to deal with it next time round.

On that note, while the Neu's may have the Crown of Vengeance, we possess the puzzle box that it was stored in. After Luna was discharged, Lucy surrendered the box to me citing that she did not want anything to do with it, or its relation to the crown. Initially I didn't think too much about my 'consolation prize'. But upon further research, the inscription lining both the interior and exterior of the box tells a grisly tale of Queen Astara and her fate. What intrigues me is that it possibly has clues leading to her final resting place.

I have made arrangements for an archaeological team to be sent to England. If the Hellfire Queen is more than just a myth, than this would be a breakthrough in our quest to understand and defeat the supernatural.

NOTES: Individual demonstrated both pyrokinesis and telekinetic powers. However separation of the crown from the victim's head has caused the daemonic form (sans powers) to subside. No further escalation required.

Proof that I can't write romance to save my life. I'll admit, this isn't my best bit of writing to date. Been experimenting with a hybrid writing style which combines the traditional report format from the earlier entries, and the story telling of the later ones. Feel free to find holes in this one because I guarantee you will find more than in a moth-laden sweater. :V
And dont worry, the next entry will be back to something more traditional.

Anyway, here's Lucida in all her demon-y glory! A character that was conceptualized by and brought to life by known other than himself, the design which you can find here . And yes, I'm coining the term for her Demon form as Lucida (because saying Demon Luna is too much of a mouthful) so if you ever hear it elsewhere, you know where it came from! And as previously mentioned I'm awfully late to the Lucida bandwagon. Writing a story involving a rather unorthdox design for a Loud character is not particularly easy, but It was worth experimenting with my boundaries nonetheless. If this was an actual episode from the series, it would obviously take place from Luna, or Magilily's point of view.

The design for Sam's dress is based on this artwork done by so credit goes to him for it. The only thing I changed was the lack of a ponytail on Sam.

Eh... did I forget anything else? No? Well then, two more weeks till UNITE month ends. Lets see what else I can churn out till then!
