Hmmm, I guess that's something that's in the eye of the beholder of raichu lol, this design personally tho... I just picked dark because it made more sense for this design concept lol.

I never really saw the point in Electric/Dark Mega Raichu, but hey, it's better than BLUE Mega Raichu. Enough negativity from me, let's get onto this actual design!
While, as I said, Electric/Dark Mega Raichu seems silly to me, this design manages to make it look GOOD. While its paws and feet being yellow instead of brown or black spoils it a little bit, this is easily compensated for by the rest of the design.
I could see this as a very fast and physically-oriented Mega Evolution for Raichu. Its main moves will clearly be Volt Tackle and Knock Off, and Fake Out will likely also see usage. I could see its abilities being Tough Claws or Sheer Force - an original ability might also be a thing!Β

I'm glad you liked it enough to leave an official positive criticism of the piece, I could have left it plain Electric, but Raichu was already at a disadvantage with that against dual typing Pokemon like mega swampert for example, not that dark is a major bonus, it just felt more right for the dark thunder cloud and sharp tails design I went for! I'm glad you like it!

I like it! I always preferred this whole evo lineΒ as quadrupeds rather than bipeds (except for Pichu,Β which isΒ dead to me), they look much more natural that way.
Additionally, I didn't like Pikachu as much. Ever since Ash's Pikachu refused to takeΒ that Thunderstone, Raichu has been forgotten completely. It's really no wonder I stopped watching the anime so long ago.

Yesterday night....ugh it was horrible.... I'm one of those weirdos who can't fall asleep unless their room is completely pitch-black....
.....my curtains were open just a tad....and the light from outside was in my face....
.....but I was too tired to close them.....So for the whole night, I was just laying there, unable to fall asleep, but too exhausted to do anything about it....
