Antoine, Male

Antoine doesn’t look for trouble, it has a bad habit of finding him. This is likely due to the fact that he’s blind in one eye and therefore appears to be at a disadvantage if he gets in a fight, not to say that he can’t hold his own. He can. Vision seems rather trivial when your hearing is heightened to the point that you can hear the paw steps of an approaching rouge half a mile a way.
He is a bit eccentric, he wanders off at inappropriate times and has somewhat obsessively compulsive tendencies: Counting his paw steps, circling counter-clockwise before he sits, leading with his left paw when he crosses rivers. This translates to being socially awkward, especially around females. It’s as if he doesn’t even recognize them as the same species.
Still waters may run deep, but if that applies to him, you wouldn’t know. He hasn’t spoken much since the incident, it may be due to the guilt that he walked away with only scars while his sister never got up. I heard she was beautiful, and that he laughed when she smiled. She was the only one who got his condition. Without her and with his disability he seems to have slipped beyond redemption. He hasn’t laughed since, but he smiles occasionally, when he plays with the pups.
Adults avoid him since he has a rather ominous air about him, and naturally, they make him quite anxious. We all fear what is different or that we do not understand. The pups however seem oblivious to such societal norms and tired misconceptions. They adore him, and he seems to accept them more than the adults do. I suppose he sees the young as innocent, or maybe he just longs for the days he and his sister romped around the den.

I'm not a comic artist, but I thought I would make a guenuine effort for this.

I'll type up a description when I have a chance, but first I have to update Antoine's Bio!
