Description Rajial leaned upon the fence and waited with slight annoyance for Hathien. She looked out over the morning horizon and breathed the fresh smell of dew, admiring the vast playground of the ara-appaloosa stallion, Arrow, son of her Tomahawk. Arrow was nowhere in sight, however, and given the great amount of space, it was no wonder. Hathien had gone to fetch a bucket of oats to lure the stallion from his solace. She knew that simply sighting a new face around Silver Stone would be enough to send him flying towards the two to investigate, as his curious and sometimes reckless nature would force him to do so. But, of course, there stood an ominous hill, separating the two groups from reality. The sound of dancing oats would hopefully bring him about.

Hathien soon returned with a broad blue bucket, muttering something about a rock in her boot, but Raj was positively jittering with impatience. The sound of crunchy oats turned more than a few hopeful heads, but Arrow's was not one of them. Hath violently continued, sneezing when the dust consumed her face. The two waited, not saying a word. Raj prayed the footfalls she was hearing weren't her imagination.

The glorious silver dappled stallion appeared at the top of the hill. He paused for a moment, observing the two from a distance and neighed shrilly with triumph. Either a new person to meet or the shiny blue bucket send him galloping across the grass, stretching his shining body with ease. He tore up the ground and threw an unnecessary buck in his freedom. Raj uttered a "wow" while Hathien simply smiled at her boy.

He transitioned to a boisterous trot to cover the miniscule ground between them and eagerly stretched his neck towards the oats.

"Hey!" Raj exclaimed when he nearly knocked her in the face in his hurry. Hath yanked the bucket away with a furrowed brow until Arrow stood politely.

Raj fed him handfuls of oats and couldn't seem to wipe the awestruck grin off of her face. This was the beautiful son of her black appaloosa stallion and the eternally grumpy yet graceful arabian, Sevana. The two had managed to produce a surprisingly eye-catching and well-conformed colt. To say the least, Raj had had her doubts about the pair and could never have expected a better product than the horse now standing proudly before her.

"Oh, he's unbelievable, Hath." Raj sighed, attempting to fix his tussled forelock.

"Yeah, I'm glad he didn't get much of Sevana's temper, though he can be a little crazy sometimes!" Hath laughed. She paused, seeming to reminisce on one of Sevana's not-so-nice days...

"I'm just ecstatic he's an endurance prospect! We should enter a race together! I'm sure he'd get along with Karma, as long as he didn't try anything, heh."

"That would be great!" Hath agreed, wondering when the next endurance race would be held. She knew Rajial had ridden Karma in one only a few weeks ago.

A while later, Raj thanked Hathien for the visit and grudgingly got into her Ford to return to New Horizon. She could literally spend every second of that day chatting with Hath and seeing all of her amazing horses. But there was work to do, as Chevoda had so kindly reminded her via cell during the course of her extended trip. Raj rolled down the road, waving out the window and honking the entire way all while pasting Arrow's image into her mind permanently.

Simple, yet fun story. I know it's not too exciting, but I like it! Not every moment of Raj's life is crazy, thank goodness. This is ~Hathien603 's stallion, Arrow [link] son of my Tomahawk and her Sevana [link] Here's their hilarious breeding pic: [link] Hope you like it, Andrea! You don't really need to enter him in an endurance race; I just put that in for the story's sake. Sorry I didn't do a better background, but I'll be sure to draw him in the future. I pray his markings are somewhat accurate, but his face was difficult since the drawings of him are profiles. And, oh, that color... Anyways, enjoy!

Yay! You liked him! I know, right? I draw a heavier build, and people notice straightaway. O.o I hope his face marking is somewhat correct... I had to guess the details. Sorry Hath doesn't have too much dialogue, but it's difficult to put words into her mouth. Seeing as she isn't my character, I hold back. Hehe, you ALWAYS get a rock in your boot despite tucking your jeans in most of the time. So confusing!

Heh, well, I like a lot of medium built horses, too! Ty isn't skinny, and I'd never change him. Most of my equine movie icons have been lean builds, so that probably has a ton to do with it. Glad you actually lol'd, though that's not difficult for you to do. Thanks for the quotes permission! Don't worry; I won't turn you into a monster with my writing. >,>

Glad you like him! Hmmm, well, at least he's not too skinny. Maybe he's just had a little too many oats.

Ahh, another great start off to a day at Deviantart. Always wonderful to see your's and Hathien's pictures in my inbox. The stories are always fun to paint a relaxing or dramatic scene; well done!
So, critquie.. hmm.. This picture is actually very well done! The only thing I could probably mention is his chest seems just a smij too low, other than that, it all seems very well conformed.
Tomahawk and Sevana surely did produce a gorgeous foal.

I had his bottom-line different initially, but I've been trying to stop making my horses so skinny! Glad it brightened your day! Thanks for the comment.
