Lots of juvenile nuthatches and blue tits around my garden these days. There've never been so many of them. I hope to be able to shoot more of them in the next couple of days. They are adorable - still learning about the world around them, how to perch on twigs, where it is safe to land and where rather not (like on my head, for example). Lots of fun.

Haha, they have tried landing on your head? That's so cute! We have some baby blue jays in our backyard right now, but they're too shy to even stick around when we are outside.

One of them almost did. Hovered above me for a while trying to decide what to do, obviously intending to land. Now, a few days on, they are much more cautious. Which is a shame as they are absolutely sweet. I'm now waiting for little fieldfares and blackbirds. They usually are a lot of fun when they come out of their nests. And I know they are around...
