OMG! What the hell is this? A TLK-based comic? Hell, yes! 8D
OK, calm down, I was inspired by 's wonderful comics, so I decided to adapt the audiobook called "Friends For Life" into a comic, since, as far as I know, I haven't see any "comic" adaptation of this audiobook.
This story, "Friends for Life", is about the friendship between Kopa (Simba's and Nala's son in TLK6NA) and a hyena cub named Asante. This story is very short and quite simple, so I decided to draw a comic based on that script, but I may introduce a few changes to make the story more interesting, since I think the friendship between a lion and a hyena can make a rather good story.

Let me explain this page first:
If you remember the first film, Mufasa said that the Elephant Graveyard was already out of the kingdom's borders, so the hyenas actually didn't even live in the kingdom, so, when Simba didn't allow them to return to the graveyard, the hyenas were forced to live even more far away than the kingdom's borders, this means, far away even than the Elephant Graveyard, but, if they didn't live in the kingdom, how could Simba accuse them of treason? Because even if Mufasa didn't allow them to live in the Pridelands, they were allowed to hunt as long as they respected the balance of the Circle of Life (but they didn't), so, when they helped Scar to kill Mufasa, they were guilty of killing "their" king.

Well, kinda my theory... The "relationships" between hyenas and lions are hard to explain...
