By popular request, the tutorial for the Pipe Fox/Kudakitsune from xxxHOLiC is up at last. Click the 'Download' link on the top left menu, and (assuming I've got this submission thing working right, being still such a DA noob and all) you should be able to save the tute as a zip file. Queries are welcome if anything in the instructions doesn't seem clear.Obviously, I've also used this as an excuse to upload a couple of extra photos I had sitting around. The pictures with the ribbon and holly were taken last Christmas, which should tell you more than you ever wanted to know about how long it takes me to get around to uploading some of this stuff.

Here is my Pipe Fox I made from your awesome tutorial.Β crystalheart9.deviantart.com/aβ¦I did have a bit of a problem with the headΒ as this is my first attempt at sewing a toy plush.Β The head pattern had two tabs under the chin area and I didn't know what to do with them or how to sew them onto the neck.Β I sewed them together and that seemed to pull the ears down.Β I sewed the top of the head on andΒ thenΒ sewed it under the neck and I seemed to have too much open area left behind the ears and I wanted the ears to stand up more.Β I didn't do a perfect job.Β If any one would give me a few more tips on sewing the head on better I would really appreciate it.

I noticed your download packet is missing the image of the head with measurements listed on it. I'm trying to make it and am slightly stuck...the head is either too big or too small, I seem to be having difficulty getting my printer to put out a template the right size.

I almost missed it at first, too! But here it is, in this section that reads: "Since the scale on this won't be obvious via a computer screen, (and getting it to print out to the right size is likely to cause some difficulty) here's another version with the lengths and widths marked out ." I've had to put postage up by $2 because I've just run out of postage tubes to send them in (got a bunch for free a while back, but that's not likely to be an option again), but otherwise that's correct. According to the AusPost website, postage ought to take 3-10 days (they do have faster or slower post options available for higher/lower rates, but you'd be looking at a couple of months delivery time to get it any cheaper). Making time depends entirely on what colour you want - if you want one in white or pale yellow (pictured here), I could send it off almost immediately because I've got a couple of spares leftover from a recent convention. Other colours I've done before (purple or red) would take a few days to make from scratch; colours I've not done before have a $5 extra charge and would probably take me a little longer because I'd need to buy new fur. If you need it delivered by a certain date for a gift or the like, I will certainly see what I can do.

I've never taken a check before, and I'm not sure about the logistics with sending and cashing international checks, so I'd prefer to avoid them. I usually take paypal, which is fairly easy to sign up for as long as you have a bank account and an email address. If that's not an option for you though I'm sure I could figure something else out.
