I did post it back then, but DA then changed their policies to something really underhanded and I removed all my art from this site. For like seven or eight years. Kept the account to watch other people. Finally someone convinced me to put art back here, so I have. That picture has in fact been posted several places over the years.

Hmm, yeah i heard that some years ago was it not the same, now they're ways for post but normally, with "mature" thing for hide at no-register users our the ones that are not on 18+.
And yeah. I've just saw... sadly. that one yaoi when i was it search for Jecht pic on the web... with others that i don't really wanna remember... (not mention the japanese ones!)
But now its more "open" for post almost everything.
oh yeah, keep a eye. maybe they would come some people that think you post that one and you're no the creator, it past normally for the date... i almost thought that, but after see the old you're and style, i see you're the artist. [[BTW, i actually "pass" yaoi, i really don't care many, but the only character i don't like many its with Jecht, the rest i really don't care, i actually laugh of it XD]]

Why would someone think it was stolen if it's old? People post old pictures all the time. That's just silly.

I've watch many that actually stole picture that are from japanese either old artists and post here.

It's silly to think that anyone posting old pictures of their own would be stealing. And if you're worried about someone having stolen something you report it to the mods, you shouldn't hassle the artist. It's just not nice to tell someone that they shouldn't post their own stuff if it's old.
