Having conquered the dungeon the adventurers seeks a spot of R&R in the local town, but all the citizens can see is a sudden influx of wealth and an opportunity to make some of their own.

I relished the chance to do a busy street scene, and opted to for a top down view to give a panoramic sweep, and slight detachment to the viewer. The two far background areas, top left and right, provide focal points with the eye being led between these two by following the course of the adventurers. Who in turn provide focus through the attentions of the crowd.

Damn those D&D citizens live in cramped spaces.

Love the perspective and details. At closer look you can really see all of the merchants and citizens trying to sell their stuff to the adventurers.

This is beyond amazing! You must be proud of yourself with this one, if not - you'd better be

But honestly, this is a splendid picture. So much detail, everyone and everything in the picture seems important in his own way. A true masterpiece },]

Man I just don't know how you do it! So much detail crammed into that space, but it's never -too- much. The eyes just wander around soaking it all up like a sponge I'ma go soak some more

Glad you feel the detail isn't too overwhelming, but absorbing as I'd hoped - have a good soak in it

so much detail, figures and places to look. like the guy above im not into that kinda thing but its sill fantastic.

I would have thrown in a "where's waldo" but that might ruin the atmosphere.

Take care, SB

Man, I remember if I got assigned to illustrate a crowd scene in art school, I'd feel sick.
Good work.
These names may be meaningless to you, but were you asked to partially base your human fighter on Regdar and your halfling on Lidda (the 3e iconics for fighter and rogue)?

The names are not meaningless at all - I was told to come up with something new, but recognisable at the same time.

Thanks
