Nicely done, but why did the Soviet soldiers have American weapons? That's M16 that Red Army soldier (I presume) is holding.

the soldiers are wearing US style uniforms and they are part of the 'earth allaince', so traditional delineationms don't really apply

soldiers, aliens and explosions on the Red Square
it is unclear who is fighting whom and why

It appears that the aliens have conquered Earth and established a base on the Red Square. The human resistance is fighting back and is trying to recapture the area taken by the invaders. I think it's pretty clear what picture he was trying to capture.

they are Earth Alliance troops - who happen to look surprisingly American
