I mean, as long as it doesn't become self destructive, what is the problem? I honestly don't see much wrong with spending time actually enjoying hobbies, even if it is a majority of one's time. Heck people are actually starting to make money of playing video games online as well as making art on here and discussing anime on youtube.
Having that holier than thou attitude isn't really the best way to get your point across. If it brings people happiness and doesn't become a big addiction, their really is no issue. Everyone has different values, interests and beliefs in life.

I know, right? If you like something, there's nothing wrong in dedicating your life to it, as long as it dosen't destroy your life or become detrimental to you or others. So many people write anime reviews or do let's plays and make money out of it. Athletes become good only when they dedicate their entire life to their sport. I know, being a judoka myself, that getting to the top is no joke. I doubt the person who made this stamp has understood the value in passion and dedication. This is just a very foolish and biased sentiment. Dedicating your life to something is not sad or pathetic as long as you do it right.

Yeah, what is the point of living life if you can't do the things that make you happy? Really, stuff like this seems like a bigger issue, dedicating and judging what a person does with their life. If it inconveniences others or hurts that individual then sure, I can understand but this stamp comes off as biased and just bitter. Many people really spend too much time focusing on what another person does with their life instead of their own and working out their own problems.

To be honest, what's the point in doing anything if we're just going to die anyway.
I'd argue that dedicating one's life to something one loves is equally as valid as dedicating it to God or helping others, because really in the end nothing matters. i love anime, and dA xD but it is because this is a place where i meet more people like me (artists i meand i have a lot of friends tat draw but it's fun to meet more people like you ^^) and anime because most of then (the anime i watch) inspires me ^^ i love that stories and they really help me to get some ideas for drawings and writing
