"Nopony will ever steal my spotlight again!"I have been wanting to make this ever since I saw "For whom the sweetie belle toils" and I will make it my headcannon that all ponies can succumb to there negative emotions and turn into a darker version of themselfs. And thats all becaus Luna warned Sweetie belle to not repeat her mistake and be jelous of her sister, so until proven otherwise thats my theory.

Gorgeous eyes and horn light effect. I love the way you used shape of her mane to make this flowing part, though I think it should be more transparent, for example to make her hind legs visible- it's something in type of steam or a fog, so it shouldn't have solid color.

What I suggest is to try drawing tail in two layers- one behind her butt (lower that the body layer) and the second one upper, on the leg, then make both of the semi transparent.Then they'll overlap and make the illusion of steam being thicker in one place. I do it when I draw NMM fanarts (none of them on dA, but I do plenty of them XD ) and it works.

This might be my favourite of all your pictures so far. I love it. Especially with the way you have the magic spiraling off the tip of her horn.

I like to have my magic look a bit more alive like smoke or a small flame then to just a small glow around the horn.
