Description I asked a friend of mine if he might be interested in a challenge. The original Lisp Alien, conceived by Conrad Barski, MD, done in a style more reminiscent of a D&D monster manual entry, or a Magic Card. I am intensely pleased with the results.

I haven't conceived of any silly D&D style stats for it yet, but lisps are incredibly adaptable, hearty, freakishly clever and ridiculously mobile. They seem to be able to go anywhere and do most anything, and there are innumerable sub-species of Lisp. This right here is what is known as a Common Lisp, and it seems to benefit from the adaptations of other Lisps that go before it.

Where Lisps excel is their seeming natural affinity to work with the esoteric as though they were native inhabitants and part of it. Most any discipline you can imagine, they can pick up and adopt like an extension of their own bodies, even change and modify the way it works, to their own preferences. An advantage that has driven many, less adaptive and more specialized beings to frustration and madness. In no time at all, they can take something complex and make it their own, if they can understand it.

The biggest problem with Lisps is that they are not very charismatic or attractive, to put it mildly. To put it more bluntly, they are intimidating as hell before you get to know them. If you can understand math, they're not so terrifying, and you can more easily comprehend the language they speak. They're otherwise an incredibly chill and neutral creature, with no inherent goodness or evil to them. Only freakish ability to survive and thrive. Anywhere. Their lack of charisma notwithstanding, you'll always have a disgustingly reliable, productive and creative partner if you can convince your employer to put it on the payroll.
