"If we were normal...would I feel you?".........iEEE!!! :3
Despite the way this may look, this is a picture of Raven and Cyborg...just normal xD And, despite the way that it may seem from past stuff, I am completely in love with this pairing x3 I have been ever since 'Car Trouble'.The whole idea is that both Raven and Cyborg, in some way, cannot feel certain things (Raven emotions, him the touch feelings) and have something that keeps them from being/doing what they want to be/do, but what if they were normal? So yeah. I wanted to do a majorly overly anime style for this one (because that's how it appeared in my head), in drawing style and in colouring xD Utena was a major influence. I had way too much fun colouring this one, as well.
As for background stuff, above Cyborg's head is the cybernetic-type stuff, showing what it is that he has become. On Raven's side, it's her demon side (like the eyes and the black stuff).
I tried to make it look pretty and cool, so I hope even those who don't like the pairing like the picture anyway

I like this! It's so different in a good way because your style is so unique!
I was hooked on CyRae from Car Trouble too, and know EXACTLY what you mean about each of them being unable to experience things. They connect and I wish they were more canon... all we have to go by is gestures and body language and shared looks and such.
But, that's part of the allure, I think. ^_^

GAH. I know. I was, like, a hardcore BBxRae shipper until I finally saw Car Trouble. Then I was converted xDD And, the fact that it's not exactly canon does make it more interesting, I think. Being a rabid CyRae fan, I say the fact that they don't really have much "couple-type" interaction, like Rob and Star, makes it easier to believe that they connect on a more emotional and spiritual level

I love the concept, it really suits for the couple, and the colors are very warm. The background is really cool with the "If were were normal would I feel you?" in different sizes as well as the "cybernetic" and "demon" parts on both sides of the picture.
And dare I say it, both of them look hot! I really can image them looking that way if they were normal. Love this picture! ^_^

Wow. Just wow.. I've come across this once or twice before, but I suppose I was reluctant to comment it. Masterfully done, and in regard to the pairing - it works with the concept of the drawing, so regardless of the standings in the current plot, I think it could work. Looking at it again, it's truly beautiful - the entirety of the idea, the elements involved, and just everything about it. Wonderful.

WHAT A FABULOUS PICTURE!!!
I love the vivid colors in this picture!! The only thing that was a tad distracting was the shading on Cyborg's chin... I think the complex shading in the faces and hair and hands are enough, because those are key areas to focus on.
Their expressions are pricless, and I love the story/theory you have about them!

I don't like this pairing as my as I love BB/Rae or Rob/Rae, but I still support it. I never really looked at their relationship the way you do. It makes sense...a lot of sense. I like it.

Very few people draw fluffy Cyborg art, and if they do, it's usually with Jinx (and VERY rarely, Bumblebee). The same episode that inspired you also made me believe CyRae is possible, and even believable!
...Ya know, just about everyone in TT can be paired with everyone else for one reason or another. Maybe that's why I don't have any real 'uber-fave' couples. They all work if done right...
But I'm babbling. So yesh, I fave your piece cuz it's CyRae done right. :3
