Description This was a coloring practice, I guess.

It's a cowboy. For some reason, I'm really in love with them lately. (like the old west type). Guess I'm finally rediscovering my Texas soul ha ha.

But, my dad sometimes sings old country songs to me (when I was a kid too), like Waylon Jennings and Hank Williams and Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, etc., so that kind of sound and quality is what I was imagining in my head. Old lonesome and tired boys. (Also, I'm in love with the song "Should've Been A Cowboy" by Toby Keith, so...yes.)

This is really nice, I'm uber jealous of you mad skillz. My dad would listen to those too. Go Wille Nelson and Hank Williams.

That's great, really gives the impression of "Old lonesome and tired". I can only wish that my color sense gets good enough to be able to depict these kinds of portraits. :]

Curious here, did you use photoshop to paint this

Thank you very much~

And, no, I didn't use Photoshop. This is an oekaki picture, done using a program called ShiPainter. However, that's basically like an online mini-Photoshop anyway ha ha xD It's just a little more limited in effects, but the watercolor tool (which I used to paint this) is wonderfuuul lol.

Oh ShiPainter~ I haven't touched that program (or an oekaki board come to think of it now) in AGES. The watercolor tool was always fun to play with. Could never actually make a good picture with it though. >>
