my lens is not is equipped but i had a monopod connected to my camera and the monopod was sticking in my trouser pocket. this technique allows me to move around during the concert but to take pictures almost in tripod quality...

I love how perfectly this captures the mannerisms of conductors. They all seem to do this - a sharp flick of their wrist, and they point their index finger towards the sky to emphasize a sharp increase, and sudden noise...

At any rate, this natural instant captures a conductor perfectly.
