I've been going through my archive of old art and trying to find interesting pieces to post and I came across this old Illustrator piece I did for a friend - making her a cute anime kickboxer. I wanted to try a more, how to put it, "cutesy" anime style - in the vein of Azumanga Daioh or Kill Me Baby. Β Critique is very much appreciated.Related content

she's very cute - you could do a whole series of combat sports girls - MMA, Muay Thai, boxing, TKD, karate, judo, Greco-Roman wrestling, pro wrestling, savate...just a thought

For me i prefer to you stick to this visual style
Realistic is nice, but i love to see more like that visual, since she looks pretty cute and sometime realistic reduce that aspect ^^
Only thing i can say its maybe using some color more... to contrast. the pink color is disappear with white background xD
