I finished this one on Saturday. Rather a complicated piece as I was working from five separate photographs; it's tough to paint so small - the heads on the kittens are about an inch across, but it was important to paint them small in order to get the proportions correct.The grey kitten on the left looks a bit awkward to me, but I promise that he's in that unusual position in the reference photo.
Rather happy with the fur on the mother cat, particularly.This is watercolour, 11" by 14", a commission.

Yeah, the mother cat's fur does look amazing! And I particularly love the little ginger kitten in the middle!

Thanks! Yeah, this one presented a few challenges - I had to adjust the perspective, lighting, and subject sizes in order to make it work, and then had to work out a realistic composition of the subjects from the references. I'm pretty pleased with it - I like to think that not many people could pull this off. I'm not trying to brag, but after the week I've had, I need to make myself feel better whenever I can.
