Taken in the botanical garden. I don't know what plant this is (the labelling was a mess), but it's something from Madagascar.EDIT: It's Uncarina grandidieri.

It's an immature uncarina fruit. When they mature, their fruits have sharp, hooked tips and stick into the feet of animals when they are stepped on.
