Description
The sketch for the mosasaur was traced off a photo I took of a rather unfortunate life-sized model in a museum.Related content

That ammonite is unsure of the proper reaction, I believe. Poor thing, to have this be the last thing he sees.

Only if the mosaderpus can actually find it, it appears to be somewhat handicapped to me.

In any case there's no binocular vision there. And ammonites are pretty fast.

They were? The papers I read about them when researching their jaws told the opposite. Most of them were also filter-feeders.

I'd have to look into that, but I think I just confused their locomotion methods with those of squids which are waaay faster. You're probably right; your ammonite is screwed.

Well, there are some claims that ammonites were way faster than nautilids, but those also assumed ammonites were predators, which is definitely not true for the vast majority of groups.
Maybe the ammonite has a chance if the mosaderpus ate before already or whoever was producing the image was far more interesting and tasty.
